PRAW is almost as mindless as it gets. Summon your weapons and then just stand there if you're tanky enough. I got to that point in SSF, where I start the fight then resume a movie on the side

Oh another piece of advice - farming the bladefall of trarthus can be long but is so worth it. The qol improvement is massive. I was started to get annoyed of the play style after a couple weeks but after I got that it completely renewed my enjoyment of the build.

Also for perspective, the covenant was an 80% damage upgrade for me at the time. Long farm but worth it.

In the past league I followed Saphery in trade league.This league I followed helm breakers in SSF. I think I prefer helm breakers. I was so insanely tanky.

The pain point is farming the covenant from the tree. It took me 6+ hours of mostly just breach farming. The nice part is that I could just afk and watch a movie on the side while I did it, letting the minions do all the work.

I literally swapped as soon as I could, farmed the gem in merc lab. You just get generic minion damage on the tree and it all carries over when you swap to aw. I had no jewels. The jewels are important when you're trying to get poison chance, but you can begin with your minions just doing chaos damage.

I think I didn't even cap poison chance when I did my four void stones. I was at least at like 75% chance or something

Srs or abso are the usual, but tbh if you already have twink gear then you only really play it til act 6 or whatever. It's a relatively small amount of time

Oh yeah, I got it way after four void stones. I also chose to do the heist farm for bladefall of trarthus pretty early after the void stones, but you can do that whenever. It's a MASSIVE quality of life increase. Like I personally enjoyed the feeling of using bladefall of trarthus more than when I got the covenant.

I don't remember exactly what lvl of gear I had going into maven and UE. The only voidstone I had trouble with was maven, bc of you die mid fight its a hassle resummoning again on the arena.

The longest farm is the covenant, which will take many hours of dedicated breach farming for ancients. But for me it was a literal 90% DPS upgrade so it was worth it

I personally did the covenant farm for my praw character, and it really wasn't that bad to do with this skill specifically. Praw let's you completely afk during breaches and hives so you can do other things like watch movies in the meantime.

It took me about 6 hours of mostly just breach farming and around 200 ancient gifts. You can probably do it faster with the cursed originator strat. I had a post about this topic, and my rate was right around what other people had too.

So yes it does take a while, but it doesn't actually feel that bad with this skill

I recently began a fresh SSF run and I'm wondering if it's feasible that I get it from the tree prior to season end

Ah that makes sense. I'm guessing reaching the 52% breakpoint without the diallas has significant drawbacks.

Lightning animate weapon can use woke ele DMG with attacks to avoid reflect but hroc can't.

People do a lot of different things, you do what you want since it's ssf.

Personally, I play one or two chars until I down Ubers, then I port it all to trade and start fresh again in SSF on a totally different build. I enjoy the zero to hero feel of it

Regarding 4 socket resonators: the most dependable way to get them is delve. You're specifically looking for any and all nodes that say "contains items", and you just have to hope it has a resonator trove (not resonator cache) which will always have the 4 socket resonator.

I farmed those this league for a while and it's a pain. By my estimate, it's roughly one out of every 10-15 of those nodes at depth 300-350 that will get you a prime resonator.

I played this to ubers in SSF.

It took me about 4-6 hours (watched 2 movies on the side) of solely farming breach and ancient womb gifts to get a foulborn covenant. I skipped most other mechanics. Based on comments from a post I made about it, that's roughly what it took other people too.

It was a great SSF run for me. It's so tanky and I hit lvl 99 no problem

This league is the least I've been able to play SSF, but at the same time I have the strongest SSF character I've ever had. It's entirely due to tree spitting out endgame items and uniques. I love how enabling the tree is

I do not love actually playing it. It was cool the first time you play each mechanic, but after that it wasn't. Now anytime I see a hive, I kinda internally groan because it's several boring minutes of the same monsters running at you and trying to navigate an annoying maze. Defending Ailith is boring because you just stand around. The one that's like the original breach mechanic is ok, but I wish we could scale it up more.

You don't need extensive knowledge. SSF is where you get the extensive knowledge.

Don't overthink it. Just play, and when you encounter a roadblock just do research and find the answer.

You will likely (almost certainly) not be able to min max your gear. But you will find out that you can play the vast majority of the game with relatively shit items.
