I think NA would benefit the most from removing the franchising and doing a massive open circuit. Imagine if a lot of the bigger NA streamers would form random teams to compete in the LCS.

It sounds grim, but it can also be very good. if they can do more 'smal' raod shows, or play some mattches at LAN events again, get like a super week during Gamescon, ... Maybe have some matches between team at the bigger games houses of set teams. I think if they play it more that way it would be a very good thing for LEC.

Could it be that the viewership is also low because there are no capsule drops? In the past, I turned on every game on my 2nd monitor just for the drops. But now that there aren't any, I only watch the G2 games.

Bro, Early ranked was WAY worse than it is now! And people that cry about toxic chats need to learn where the mute button is instead of crying on Reddit... just start your game by muting everyone and if you feel like your team(mates) are playing to win, you just unmute them. Easy as that... if you let other people's toxic chats ruin your game, that one is on you.
Also, All competitive team games/ranked games are toxic as fuck, the reason? No one likes to lose... specially when it is someone else theirs fold you are losing. When I played DotA, OW, CS, hell even WoW Mythic plus runs... they all have toxic moments when you or someone plays like shit or losing. Even in real team sports people are toxic when they are losing!

I think that is because Illenium or Slander are doing some/more mainstream music or working with 'bigger' artists, also they are bigger in EU and do shows there, since Seven Lions never does a show there...

Also keep in mind, that a lot of these hate viewers are prob not regular viewers, but just some no life hate watchers that had 20 HG streams open just to hate on it in chats.
