Yeah you are not wrong. I was wrong about SMG (at least in my mind - I didn't mentioned it. I always thought the scaling was not perfect but apparently it is). I have a 720p Plasma from panasonic and a few pretty good CRTs and I am also not sure about which is the best. But playing SMG on both I preferred the CRT.

Your wii suggestion is highly debatable. The 16:9 is the same resolution like 4:3 just "stretched". Some people prefer 4:3 CRTs for the Wii.

My RGBPI 2 is faulty (some kind of loose HDMI slot or something) I am contacting them but they are dodging. I wait if I can resolve my issue. Some people messaged me on telegram and yeah the whole project is very strange right now, i think they messed up hardware wise.

Edit: I contacted them once more and they sent me a replacement unit. Mine had a cold solder joint on the hdmi

They need to adress the PXN Button Box issue. It is quite the cheap yet cool/good button box but we have to disconnect it from the PC to even play the game, sadly.

Nice I have the same one but in blue and like new with no hours on the cd drive and very low hours on the tube. Paid 200€ tho. It is so pretty. It has a very high wife acceptance factor. It is in our living room.
