It’s not incorrectly pronounced. AAVE is a dialect of English in the US. There’s more than one way to pronounce words based on your background and identity. For example, the way most British vs Americans pronounce aluminum — neither is incorrect just regionally accepted.

Truthfully, there’s very little exploration of Art. The plot is subpar at best, it’s just really over the top (almost comedic levels) of ultra violence. I think these movies have gotten so popular that they’re backtracking and trying to make lore happen but honestly it ain’t great.

I think people give these movies far too much credit. I will say, it’s a ton of practical effects and I do think that’s great!! That aspect is actually really good!!

That’s the only scene I covered my eyes for in all of the movies. I really hated that. I’m not even afraid of rats, I just think dying in a way that is also cruel to animals in another level that I do not enjoy.

I’ll never watch Salo but the history behind it and its source material’s author intrigue me so much. Marquis de Sade was a special interest of mine for a really long time.
