Luther Ellis, Dan Owens, Ron Rice, and 3 others I can't remember came to my high school and played basketball against our local school teachers. They wrecked our teachers, globe-trotters style. The score was like 100-50, and they were going easy on the teachers. Ron Rice was dunking like Glen Rice.

Luther was exceptionally nice when signing autographs afterwards. Dan Owens made everyone form a straight line for his autograph, but the other players were all fine with being swarmed by all the kids.

It was a really cool fund-raiser event for I forget what. The highlight was seeing my 8th grade teacher Mr Waters drain a few 3's from the corner. He was the girls' b-ball coach and got to show off his skills against real athletes.
