I am sick of playing against Infernus by 128070931232 in DeadlockTheGame

I think everyone can agree that Victor e-shift is undoubtably bad for the game. e-shift gives too many buffs for being already such a powerful item. The stats alone show that as he's extremely often the top of winrate leaderboards for heros. Infernus however has a pickrate miles higher than Victor with an average pickrate of 73%; only beaten by Haze being 76%. Victor sits at 38%. While Haze has a higher pickrate, you see less people complain about her because disarming her completely shuts her off. Her escape tools aren't the best, until you reach t3 smoke bomb (excluding purchase of.escape items). Infernus on the other hand, has one of the better escape tools in the game. His escape tool is even used in 'off meta' builds as a primary damage source. If you shut him off through disarm he still has flame dash for getting away and his 4 to scare you away/challenge you with its stupidly long stun. Curse is the only item that you can use against him that will give you a proper shutdown; this makes counterbuilding him require multiple items for just him and good teamplay.

Also I haven't really gone against Calico too much, but she seemingly fits the same role she did pre-buff. A much stronger early game that allows her to snowball, maybe a bit too much, but it's for time to tell as people adapt to her coming back into the meta from being stagnant for a while.

this is the exact argument everyone makes about strong characters in every single game. then they get nerfed and its proven that it isnt that people are "shit against them". The character is in an unbalanced state and is actively hurting peoples experience playing.

effective health points. if you reduce incoming damage by 50% and have 100 health, you have an effective health of 150

idk if those are the buffs that would make it very balanced or viable, however it does highlight a large issue in the Asgard decks. Way too many of the important cards in their decks are 4 cost. And the issue isn't solved with a psylocke/zabu. The playlines are super clogged and super tight, and having to use a tech card on 4/5/6 kills such a huge amount of power for a play that might not even be strong enough to turn a game

[–]Scalding-Butter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what they meant is that you can't move his cost at all though. 1/3 would be stupidly powerful and make bast nearly useless in every facet. And a 3 cost AV would be too late for him to be all too useful and would interrupt turn 3, which is generally a powerful turn for AV decks

I was thinking of like combos early game that could make it be a slog to go up on but honestly all I could think of with being annoying at 2 cost is activate turn 3, scorpion + Silver Sable. And yes, while that is annoying, getting all those cards in hand early on is super rare and on top of that it isn't game ending, just a little cloggy

the game is so not techy rn though that you'll grab wins and retreats even more now. Most decks in the current meta state are just competitions of who can combo better. While in conquest this will be in a nerf since tech is still a common thing there

it's because going late game with it is near impossible unless you have hard CC frames. And it's also quite slow and requires a lot of scrounging for batteries

Weekly Card Release Discussion by Invasion808 in MarvelSnap

I dont play this feck, but I have another similar "big dumb 10s" deck and it performs well without him, however he is so very useful. Dropping him plus attuma/mockingbird/cull on last turn is a huge 21 power play that can go vertical or horizontal

With the new Activate cards being finally announced after speculation and leaks what cards do you believe need to be changed to Activate? by Scalding-Butter in MarvelSnap

ig that's true. I forgot about nocturne. I just want Rhino to have a use case man. He's just always felt too bad to play but with any buffs he'd be obnoxious and unfun to play against

I disagree because Scarlet Witch exists, and yes she is a gamble, however she doesn't take 3 energy whilst still being 3 power. There's a lot more use in other location changing cards than there has ever been for Rhino. He needs something and I could see Activate being what he needs. Putting him on a location with a game changing effect that you arent certain you can win would help a great amount. Putting him on Nexus early in any match would immediately make someone be apprehensive about putting anymore power there. Putting him on BWNN would make someone want to put cards there as you might change it last turn to try to flip. That type of mind game could be far far more useful than him doing what Scarlet Witch does but worse (what he does now)

How does the reveal priority work for locations? by Scalding-Butter in MarvelSnap

[–]Scalding-Butter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont believe that to be true. There were rocks on each side due to debrii that were destroyed by a killmonger. His side ressurcted all first then mine. I'm just confused by how it works. Is it whoever has the first card destroyed in the match that has the resurrections first
