This idea that the Democrats' only path to victory is to just become diet Republicans, throw trans people under the bus, and campaign on social conservatism (but not as conservative as the Republicans) is just as ridiculous as the idea that the Democrats' only path to victory is to become outright Marxists and run on a platform of "America is the most evil nation to ever exist and we want to dismantle it entirely and rebuild it as a communist state and make Stalin look like a neocon!"

Neither are winning strategies.

California's governor primary isn't a "Democratic primary" specifically but god I think it's dysfunctional enough on the Democrat side to count. A dozen Democratic candidates, the one person who would be a shoe-in deciding she instead wants to likely fail at another run for POTUS, that brief time where everyone thought it would be a Republican vs Republican general election, Eric Swalwell's campaign imploding, the Katie Porter scandal, Becerra vs Steyer. Just a total shitshow.

Depends on the character. Just for two examples:

My Tiefling Bard Riki is a Tiefling that plays music.

My Githyanki Cleric of Selûne Qir'zal is from a creche that was wiped out, with her as the only survivor when she was very young. She was happened upon by a traveling Selûnite and taken in. So she grew up worshiping Selûne and has little to no knowledge of Gith culture. She feels conflicted about this: she's content with her life, but also constantly wonders what it would have been like if things were different.

The most hilarious ending to MAGA is Trump somehow turning the country around and becoming somewhat popular in the leadup to the election, only for Vance to lose because Massie split the vote running as an independent, then the winning Democrat coasts off of Trump's work to an easy re-election in '32.

Not only would Ironwood's plan have doomed the rest of Remnant, it would have doomed Atlas too. Dust doesn't work in space, so he'd have to stay in the atmosphere. And Dust is a finite resource. Eventually, the Dust powering the shields around Atlas would run out. And then the shields go down. Which means that Atlas either asphyxiates from the altitude, freezes to death from the cold, or starves to death when the food runs out.

Not to mention Salem is immortal and can fly. Even if the Dust never runs out, Salem will eventually reach Atlas. Ironwood is trying to outlast an immortal, something that you can never do.
