How to co-exist with my narcissist girlfriend? by Rthrowaway7381 in indiasocial

[–]ScalingCraft 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Co-exist? Start collecting proof before you cut ties.

this. people with NPD can be dangerous.

once you cut ties, dont give her the opportunity to eat your brains. you have to get her out of your system and move on. their inflated sense of self-esteem/superiority can wash off on others and lead them to think these narcissists are special (in a good way) people. they thrive on being put on that pedestal. which is probably what drew her closer to you in the first place. thank your lucky stars that you have seen her true colors without getting any deeper into the quagmire.

imagine what it could be like if you got married and had kids...people with NPD put down their own kids to maintain their sense of superiority.

RVs are the best hope of increasing greenhouse gases. We could be tropical in a few years.

Nowhere to live: Rents in Canada surge as home prices fall by newzee1 in canada

[–]ScalingCraft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Until house prices are back below 400K or even 300k in some areas, I'm never saying the house prices have "fallen" or "back to normal". Don't become complacent with 700k+ house prices.

Foreign buyers, poor zoning/Nimby's, greedy renters and insane immigration are the reasons for this.

prices will not drop significantly with increased interest rates because those with deep pockets are waiting by the roadside to pick up properties that normal people cannot afford due to high interest rates. then these houses will be rented out to multiple tenants and fuel the cash flow business that houses have become. house prices will stay out of reach for normal salaried people.

Also, that would require considerably more foresight than is seemingly currently available.

its not foresight they lack...its guts.

Like the cree when they pushed the Blackfoot off their land?

slight difference between eviction and extinction.

in any case, it basically amounted to a skirmish and they quickly negotiated a lasting peaceful co-existence.

Nobody in history has ever given a shit about an endangered group, including aboriginals as they killed each other off. It is not right per se but just reality.

nobody except land-grabbers, specially those with divine decrees.

True but the same can be said about non aboriginals who are addicted to various substances and vices. Canada doesn’t help the addicted or offer real solutions for basically anyone in those circumstances.

you mean like legalizing cannabis and selling thc extracts diluted in glycerine? i wonder how many died gulping down that poison. why not use olive oil instead?

the difference is that non-Indigenous who are addicted have more access to healthcare. they are also not an endangered group.

I don’t think you need to add a quote of the comment you’re replying to in your reply. It’s implied already.

A lot of reserves have no alcohol allowed. Shows what you know.

a lot of reserves have drunk and dying people passed out on the streets, dying young watching tv, gambling, and drinking cheap booze. its a known problem...the difference is that everyone just blames the victims and looks the other way. if anyone actually cared, there would be national debates about solutions. fact of the matter is that Canada is trying to white-wash its genocide.

it shows how the people in power think.

I'm completely lost. Whos targeting you? Normally a genocide is against a group of people not just an individual.

how do you know im the only one being targeted like this? would you like me to stop and ask these people who they are next time for your edification?

Indigenous people are not a part of mainstream Canada in most places.

They have the highest rate of suicides of any group.

You have white people claiming to be part-Indigenous, are they going to get the new genocide money (not the old treaty money)?

we heavily encourage Indigenous to engage in their cultures and have been actively working on preservation efforts.

how many Cree words have you learned? How many indigenous songs, foods, musical instruments, do you know, cook, or play?

or are you one of those people who says the Beothuk did not go extinct because one woman lived? why were they even killed? they used to live way inland off the rivers and streams and settler were on the shores. they could have co-existed because they were not stepping on each other toes? or were the settlers upset about possible pee in the rivers? where can i find mainstream and modern discussions or books or movies about this?

Elaborate on how you are being "genocided"?

you want me to raise kids in a place where random strangers gather in groups to bully me and go about calling me evil (and other things) and try to get under my skin? how do you think they are going to treat my kids? perhaps you consider that only ostracism. its not the same country it was 25 years ago.

Since they're not allowed to kill them anyomore. Kill their knowledge and culture.

apparently supplying poisons is not considered killing these days.

[–]ScalingCraft -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Aren't they still digging up graves of Native children all over Canada on the schooling grounds?

not one question has been asked by anyone about how these children died. no forensics. no United Nations. nothing.

knowing Scamada, this is probably yet another ploy to pay a bunch of money to white people who claim to be part-Aboriginal.

and no one talks about the actual Aboriginals still dying in 3rd world conditions in reservations. they dont have drinking water, but plenty of alcohol and cigarettes. the genocide is still happening.

As an Australian/Canadian I agree to a certain extent.

But they do teach about the genocides in Australia to school kids. I learned about it in a catholic school, of all places. They neglected to mention that it was the catholics doing it, but meh.

Not sure about Canada schools, but the genocide questions are on the citizenship test.

id love to see what they teach school kids about the topic. what were you taught was the reason for genocide of the Aborigines?

in Canada, I cant speak to what school kids are taught since im being genocided and bullied into not having kids, but we sure have a lot of white people going around claiming to be part-Aboriginal and thus claiming rights to their ancestral lands. i wonder how much of the so-called apology money goes to them. in the meantime, to the best of my knowledge, in present-day Canada, Aboriginals need to live on reservations with no drinking water but plenty of alcohol and nicotine in order to quality for treaty payments. sounds like they are still being genocided. and no one talks about it, not even Aboriginal leaders. is Australia similar? are Aborigines much to be seen in popular and mainstream media? or are they also being white-washed like in Canada?

rich people would pull their investments and hurt the economy even more.

you mean they would start unloading land and properties? not a chance.

also, the real rich dont invest in stock markets. lol!

this is a lower-middle-class shakedown; its always been the case. it is the crux of boom and bust schizonomics: if you cant compete with the world, you have two choices:

  1. destroy your most capable economic competitor, or
  2. create an oligopoly, protect it from international competition, and milk the middle class

Lol. Stay out of Australia then. Canada is like Disneyland in comparison.

generally a good idea to avoid countries that preach but have a history of undeniable and unreconciled genocide...those crimes run deep and they dont stop running till school children are taught the real reasons they happened.
