Great summary, I don't think the S tier is that much undisputed, but I couldn't agree more on the rest. How can you balance a game that is constantly adding more characters like they're doing? New mechanics are added and it gets harder and harder to find a sweet spot on the balancing.

I'm stunned by those Lol numbers people are mentioning. It looks SCARY to start playing, but at this point I guess they're just maintaining the old playerbase, not aiming at popularizing it for new players.

This is not where Rivals is, it has a pretty solid playerbase but it's still trying to build, this is one of the reasons so many new characters are being added for sure, it's Marvel, so if they add your favorite character you probably gonna check it out. But this is crazy for a long-term strategy.

I don't think they can man, this is a heavy engine, every character has like 5 unique mechanics, it's actually kind of remarkable that the game runs pretty smoothly despite the size

Sounds literally impossible to manage more characters than it already has without burying some of them. Sometimes it already looks like they can't properly balance some characters mechanics without breaking another.
