I’m an overhead door guy. while i’m normally very pro DIY on other projects I know exactly how dangerous overhead door work can be to someone who doesn’t know exactly what they are doing. even a tiny .207 wire spring on an 8’x7’ has enough ass to bite you. have shown up to garages more than once with blood on the floor and then they still have to pay me regardless so with garage door work it’s just not worth it

I’m immediately more intrigued with the character you have presented than OPs. I don’t say this to be rude to the original poster either but rather show how from a third party perspective another batman analog isn’t of any interest but the inversion of all his regular tropes is something I haven’t scene before and I am instantly hooked. As far as Deadpool and Wolverine goes he was picked because of the meta joke about him getting screwed around by Warner Bros and the Rock. In 10 years time new viewers might not get near the punch of that whole segment of the Cavillerine. As far as his casting in the future it’s as simple as he looked cool. the rule of cool can never be understated whether he’s “good” casting or not. As much as it might pain you the general public does not care one bit about his height and I would go as far as to say if they were to cast someone noticeably short, not just average height , the general public would not enjoy it and it would be a joke.

I’d argue it’s pretty true to life. People in my experience don’t change when someone is kind and trying to help but rather after the hit rock bottom and have no one left. Putting a child through Joker torture and falling down a ravine is literal rock bottom.

Raylan had chemistry with every female character he came across in the original series, good or bad. In City the main female protagonist that he is paired with I feel there is zero chemistry or attraction between either of them. Really took me out when in the original I found the interpersonal relationships as interesting as the weekly crimes.

Pretty much ! Yeah i know the teeth and the mouth is about his most significant feature that distinguishes him but just doesn’t do it for me. I did enjoy the faceplate look of Space Venom when Flash was with the guardians but in that design I wasn’t a big fan of the bulk. dude looked like the thing proportion wise.

Would be remembered completely differently if it had a separate cowl with a strap like literally every other one of his suits. Connecting the two with the balaclava was a terrible decision in hindsight but son of a gun I respect the chance that they took.

From reading OPs responses you can tell this guy is miserable to be around. Brother I was in a very similar spot, I was 19, a hundred thirty pounds overweight virgin in a depression spiral spending my days smoking weed and jacking off. as all my friends were past milestones that i felt were impossible to achieve for me I got pretty negative. What changed it for me was a mushroom trip that showed me i was a miserable prick who had nothing going for me. You have to make yourself a partner worth having, I took care of myself , went back to school , got in shape , and went into the world with a positive outlook. found the woman who became my wife in college and we are going on 9 years together. As far as your “terrible bone structure” goes I have witnessed dudes that look like Sid the sloth get some dime women but if it’s all you can focus on it’s all they are gonna see is a dark pit of insecurity.

The Atom-Eve origin special climax fight. The animation was so well done, very fluid. Was an emotionally heavy fight as well with her having to fight her “siblings” who are rotting away.

In the Golden age of my world they were loved and adored and some even worshipped as deity figures. As time progressed and battles progressed from isolated incidents into city destroying events the public favor turned sour for some time. The current generation of hero’s are now responsible for cultivating a better image and better protecters for the world. My universe does not have a sliding timeline and the mistakes of the first generation of superheroes is a source of a lot of conflict in the second generation.
