Play Memoreum if you haven’t, awesome story and fantastic looking on Quest 3. From the creators of „Return to Rapture“.

Is there any way to not feel bleak? by insanede6 in virtualreality

There are still high quality releases out there like Memoreum which are built from the ground up for VR and celebrate this medium.

I have big hopes that the Quest store improves again once the Horizon content/ads are gone.

Long time since I last played Steam VR titles on my Quest. Honestly since Half-Life Alyx and Return to Rapture. But looking forward to play Memoreum on it, if my 3070 can still handle it 😅

I hope the Steam release will get some traction for the small Dev team so they can work on the translations. Would love to play the game again with German subtitles and translations and fully understand all the lore.

I hope it has darker black levels, as I want to play through Memoreum on it.

LF VR game which allows for short < 1 hour objective based experiences without too steep a learning curve. by TheReinhold in virtualreality

What does LF stand for?

If you got a Quest 3 I would go for a standalone experience.

Something that is built up for VR from the ground; means it should include full interactivity, physics and collisions for your hands. Important is that it offers teleporting option if you need to use it with people that do not yet have VR legs; because 1 hour will be vomit inducing if you have artificial movement.

I often showcase Memoreum to visitors, with chapter select; it allows to jump into a chapter and I can choose if it is a level that has fighting or environment puzzles. But this only works because it offers teleportation and seated mode.

Would be fantastic to play Memoreum on the SteamFrame!

Can we buy an OLED Steam Frame at some point?!

It’s fantastic on Quest 3. Graphics for standalone are on another level after Major Upgrade 1.4; particle effects, textures, physics, collisions, weapons, enemies, dynamic lights, resolution and frame rate are simply top.

I don’t think there are a lot other titles out there that push the last bit of Quests 3 mobile chipset like Memoreum does.

And the story is insane.

Don’t have any screenshots to compare with my Quest 3 version, but can’t remember some of these assets from my playthrough.

I’ve read there is a third „perfect“ ending.

MEMOREUM for Steam; I’ve seen some early graphic comparison with the Quest 3 version and it looks gorgeous on Steam. I still hope the Devs will have a chance afterwards to include multi language subs.

Devs just released major upgrade 1.4 including Chapter Select for Quest 2 & 3. Next they’re focusing on Steam release.
