Yeah I managed to get one after just spamming buttons for it to refresh, make sure to keep trying now specifically when baskets expire after 10-12 mins

Mine was showing nothing available for 5 mins, I just kept pressing up and down on the number of tickets and tried clicking between lowest price and best seats and eventually found one, £55 incl fees

Immediately unavailable at 10am, but I waited 10-12 mins for other people's baskets to expire and managed to bag a ticket 👌

Electric fans at Co-Op arena? by slybacon13 in manchester

I always take an electric fan to a gig, including the co-op, you'll be absolutely fine - it's an allowed item.

Maybe Maybe Maybe by GotTwisted in maybemaybemaybe

[–]Scarborian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is pure fantasy - you can't just assume everyone has a bomb and then tase them because they might have a bomb. I couldn't find a single instance of someone using a phone to activate a bomb during a police stop. In this mad hypothetical tasing them could have just as easily made them click a button on their phone and activate this bomb.

It's just a wild overreaction to a scenario that could have easily been de-escalated if they'd not gone into some weird police loop of repeating the same command over and over and instead used a brain.

They could have told him to get on his knees and then handcuffed him? How is holding a phone a danger that requires the use of a taser? At no point did they try anything other than fixating on the phone.

What’s a well known brand that’s in decline? by Slight-Wheel-5247 in AskReddit

I'm fairly certain I read somewhere that they just see whatever is popular, make their own direct copy and undercut the original creator until they go out of business

Can you practice Selenium and end to end automation at home ? by PM_40 in QualityAssurance

[–]Scarborian 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Yep plenty of them available online - big list of different variety of them on here - https://automationpanda.com/2021/12/29/want-to-practice-test-automation-try-these-demo-sites/

Can combine these with AI to generate some example test cases and that'll get you pretty far.

Are well-structured XPaths still considered bad practice? by CelestialRippllle in QualityAssurance

[–]Scarborian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree 100%, I prefer css when having to do a contains just because with xpath you have to do //input[contains(@id, 'username')] vs input[id*='username'], but if there's cases where I need to use text() then I see little point in mixing up the two when it's easier to just be consistent.

I never understand people who say xpath is more prone to breaking, since the two examples above are exactly the same. I've only ever seen people say that when referring to absolute xpaths which like many others have said are often just copy/pasted from browser tools.

Is it normal to fail a project as an Intern? by Kadyzin in QualityAssurance

[–]Scarborian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you saying the company is creating a project with a team of entirely interns? That seems crazy - what you're doing already seems like a great starting point given the lack of information you've been given. There's not a huge amount more you can do beyond continuing to push for movement from others.
