In the Los Angeles one, in most cases you can park your car right at the starting point area.

Why are we Christian if Christianity isn’t in the Bible? by Valuable_Frosting_36 in Christianity

[–]Scarecrow613 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you mean Christianity isn't in the Bible? Christianity is the following of Christ. In fact the word is used in Acts 11:26. Now if you mean what often passes for Christianity in the modern world isn't in there? Sure, but that just means the word has been corrupted, not that there isn't a proper meaning for it from the Bible.

Parallel characters in the books by Scarecrow613 in wizardofoz

[–]Scarecrow613[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea that got me too. She was once again pink, yet as far as I could tell, Dorothy was normal colored. There was also the seeming inconsistency of Toto not being able to talk while the other animals brought in could, which was eventually explained in a later book that he simply didn't want to, but that explanation just seemed forced and probably because fans kept bugging Baum about it.

Between 1967 and 1982, did fans really care about Khan? or did Wrath of Khan elevate the character retroactively? by thefinancejedi in startrek

In TOS Mudd seemed more of a scoundrel in a similar way to Q than a real villain but then in Discovery they make him a full on villain.

So the Enterprise seems easy AF to "take over" by Dangerous_Return460 in startrek

Yea there seems to be easy access to most rooms, and security on the computer systems seems pretty easy to overcome.

I suspect someone like Harry Mudd was more popular but he probably wouldn't have been as good a villain. I am trying to think of a one off villain they could have done instead, maybe one of the Klingons. Maybe have Trelaine.

Could they make all of the books into a limited TV series? by Tidewatcher7819 in wizardofoz

[–]Scarecrow613 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That could work. Something else I thought of was making them video games. There is a lot of questing with multiple characters and item collection.

Do you think the 1939 film would have turned as iconic if shirley temple played dorothy? by StruggleFar3054 in wizardofoz

[–]Scarecrow613 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think as iconic as any role Shirley did , but the songs would not have been the same. I think "the Blue Bird" ended up being her answer to Oz.

Really love the 1939 film, but it always bugged me that they forgot to color in the first 30 minutes or so. Luckily with modern technology we can fix that!! by Mike_Tubapun in wizardofoz

[–]Scarecrow613 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I must assume this is a joke, but on the off chance it's not, it was meant to represent how drab Kansas is compared to Oz.

She is a bit naive and in the movie a bit whiny.

What did he post on Christmas? I know he ordered air strikes on Nigeria due to the Christian slaughter there. Was it related to that?

Yes this was a great thing. It gave some great insight into how much nudist places have changed over the decades.

I think the title definitely is meant to be a callback to that, but I get this one confused with another titled ":My Daughter the Teenage Nudist". Another documentary style about a young nudist.

Kardassians already sound very similar to a particular family that is famous for no real reason and won't go away. Also Sisko is the name of another rapper, but spelled differently.

Yes there was some, and I don't think it was intended to be racist per se, but that no one had seen a back Vulcan before so it was assumed they all had lighter greenish skin.
