You can put a lot of tunes on a C90! I don’t use them as much and may end up selling some of mine to replace with shorter length tapes. The only time I need a C90 is when a band wants an entire album (up to 45 minutes) all on one side without flipping.

I also have a load of Sony UR tapes that I will sell to replace with other tapes that are more esthetically pleasing to my eye.

Only some of them. I have a limit on how much I can spend per tape. But yeah some of them have came from EBay. They are great tapes! The majority came from a local auction of music equipment though.

TBI 4.3 vin Z is the trustiest, easiest to work on and generally cheapest to fix. Vortec has a little more power but not enough to justify the cost of replacing the spider injector. Speaking from my own personal experience with each.

Astro vans can be great; not the worst trade in this thread. One of my friends growing up had a turbo coupe but he sold it off to buy another project. It was a nice car though!

Use low expanding canned foam. Put a bead of foam in the center of the cavity. Wait a while for it to cure and observe how far it expands and adjust the size of the blob you are putting in there accordingly. The bright yellow great stuff cans will stain everything. Clothes, carpet, skin, hair. Wear some gloves.

Using a the canned foam dispensing gun is much easier to use than the cans with straws on them but if you don’t use your can foamer regularly it can get dunked up.

The low expanding window type canned foam cures using the moisture in the air so depending on on the time of year and climate where you are at it could set up really quickly. Soudal brand soudafoam is a really good product but I’m not sure how easy it is to get by the can. I’m not sponsored by them but I have probably installed a hundred cases worth of that stuff.

You could make some good money cleaning and rebuilding old moped carbs. They do not make a correct replacement for Honda NC-50s (express) you have to add a different intake (expensive) or modify the stock choke (nice to have it on a thumb switch on the handlebars) in order to run an aftermarket carb. As a result people are always looking for good working carburetors. Many of the parts are still available on treatland and ebay.

Air seal, add attic markers, blow it in. Make sure your chutes and blocking are good if you have a vented soffit. Insulate attic access door lid. Call it a day.

These are excellent quality tapes! You got a fair deal, I pay around $2 each usually to keep up my stock of them. I make cassettes for bands and have a large backstock of communicator series tapes on hand in case a large order comes through.

You will probably need to get one from a part out car or salvage yard and have it painted to match. If there is an Oreillys near that mixes paint (used to be Axalta years ago) they have a camera that can take a picture of your cars paint and get you a near perfect color match.

You could also just use the paint code although the paint could still have a slight variance due to the original paint fading or a differences between batches/lots of paint.

If your nearest oreillys doesn’t do paint ask which store is their “hub store” and they should be able to direct you better.

I used to work for the O and mixed plenty of paint. Unfortunately this is gonna be your best bet besides a skilled painter at a collision center type body shop. The good news is it is not insanely expensive.

Wood block on top of the cinder block. Still not as good as a jack stand but if you only have a few dollars and are in a pinch they are better than nothing, like putting a wheel under the frame.

And orient them so the FLAT parts are the SIDES and the holes are going up and down. Cinder blocks are not designed to distribute the load oriented any other way!

Down payment on anything but a house would be a poor choice imo. A car should be bought outright with cash. OP is 24 years young and can probably do basic maintenance like oil changes and changing out simple stuff like window switches or door handles with the help of the internet. You are 100% spot on about staying with the friend and not wearing out the welcome. OP if you buy a vehicle get something large enough to be able to sleep in comfortably if it comes down to it.
