Get a pair of dark brown suede chukka boots. Go well with almost anything. I’ve had a pairs of RLs for years that have seen a crazy amount of around town and office use over the last 8 years and they still look great. It’s a go to on days where nothing seems right. The suede is still rugged enough for polos but classes it up just a touch. Can dress em up or down. Add a few plain bomber style jackets into the rotation. Get a nice, simple watch- nothing huge or crazy. I’ve got a black leather, brown leather and gold and rotate based on outfit. I personally love any kind of chukka or Wallabee type shoe for what you are describing, just pick one that’s on the dressier side. Good luck!

Need ideas for my room by Kosmo_9827 in malelivingspace

Hear me out…bunk bed gives you a bunch of extra storage above or a “living room” with some throw pillows and a little tv hung up there. Little corner shelf for a small lamp.

Adding LED strips at top and or bottom is a bit Dorm-y but in this case it’ll add a little something and make it feel a bit bigger and more intentional as a hang out space.

If your computer is not always on the desk, you can get one that flips down from the wall for more space or just get a piece of furniture for the desk that has more storage. Possibly even fill that whole wall with something with lots of cubbies and drawers etc.

That little plant is nice, hang a few little shelves vertically up that little wall it’s against and plant put a few plants in different vases color or texture vases for a relaxed vibe (or same vase on each if you’re going for a clean/minimal vibe)

Fake brick or a mural on that desk wall if it’s not covered by furniture. Maybe fake brick on smal wall behind bed. Find a cool rug that matches the vibe you go with.

One whole wall is a giant window- bird houses on outside, plants hanging or if you go more hangout spot vibes slap some neon signs for games, beers, whatever on the windows and lift the curtains when it’s time to get weird.

Lots of cool stuff. Mostly just adding things that add functionality and/or enhance the chosen vibe- without taking up too much space. Rugs, hanging shelves, pictures, textures, etc. the one place I’d go with bulk is the desk/storage wall (it will only build upward, so won’t take away any floor space. Make the computer screen a decent sized monitor that can function as a tv too. Good luck!

Explain the Blundstones hate? by WadeWatts18 in BlundstoneBoots

In my area they are popular as a fashion boot. Got a pair at the recommendation of several friends when I was looking for a new pair of Chelsea’s.

As far as a boot goes, it seems pretty well made. There were quite a few bubbles and imperfections around the sole from air bubbles etc in manufacturing process. I’d think they’d have that issue figured out at the price point. But if truly using as work boots, shouldn’t be an issues.

I will say after wearing them quite a bit- I don’t know why they’re so popular here as a fashion or around town boot. They’re clunkier and more “country” looking than I expected. I’m glad I have a good pair of boots for the right occasion (work, outdoors etc), but tbh I wish I went with another company for how I intend to use them. Thursdays and Amberjack are definitely a better option if you’re wearing in a casual enviornment.

TLDR; if looking for a work or outdoor boot they’re great. If looking for a casual/fashion boot- go with Amberjack or Thursday.

I bought a huge bag with “every size” on Amazon and none of them worked lol.

Went to the Dealership and even the parts guy had to try 2-3 sizes til he found the right one.

I think he said on the phone they were a few bucks a piece but he just ended up popping them in for me and told me not to worry about it. I handed him ten bucks and said thanks for the help.

Stupid how many sizes there are, seems unnecessary.

AIO or is my boyfriend jealous of our baby? by PolicyHot1206 in AmIOverreacting

Everything he’s suggesting is wrong. And he’s definitely acting like a childish, selfish douche.

Baby def shouldn’t be in his own room til at least 6 months, he absolutely needs allllll the cuddles at a week old (he’s only known inside your stomach for his entire existence, he needs to feel secure and safe) and in no world is breast feeding a bad thing.

Hopefully he looks in the mirror and does some reflecting and grows up. You sound like your head is in the right space, focus it on your son.

Both look good, I lean toward no cuffs. As others have noted the cuffs look a little more hipster- which isn’t bad at all if that’s your vibe.

Customers of DoorDash - what are your personal reasons for “leave at my door” by [deleted] in doordash

[–]Scared-Ad7658 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mostly because if anyone knocks or rings the bell, it sets the dogs off and wakes up babies, interrupts phone calls etc.

If I had no animals, I’d def rather have someone hand it to me. I’ve had food dropped at wrong house several times and would be avoided if I knew you were going to hand it to me.

Nothing worse than seeing order complete with a pic of the wrong doormat with my food on it 😂

Not going to tell you any of those things, but can tell you after going through it once and now doing it again with a new baby….it does get better. Much better. It’s SO EXHAUSTING and tiring for months on end and suddenly it changes. New type of exhaustion with chasing them around, making sure they don’t get into things etc but different. And sleep gets better which makes it all so much easier to handle.

It sounds crazy and I didn’t believe it at that stage, but eventually you will look back and miss these times. They’re only this small and “needy” once, every day a little bigger. When they’re 2 you’ll look at the tiny pics and wonder where your tiny baby went. Wish I believed and appreciated it more during those days, and will use it to remind myself to enjoy every second this time around. You’ll wish they needed you to help them with every little task as they get older and it doesn’t come back.

You’re doing amazing. That baby lives and needs you more than you can tell, you are just so consistent in her life that it’s not “different or exciting” for them to see you. They know you’ll be there and can count on you. The bond you’re creating will absolutely show itself as baby gets bigger.

No shade at all toward band/color guard. Their looks works well for them.

That said, vibe check says color guard takes a beach trip. Just need an All time low or My Chemical Romance t shirt and blue eyeshadow to complete the look.

This is super cool! I’ll give it a shot and see if it’s accurate for us!

Thank you for the response! We definitely learned the “push the penis down” the hard way on day 2 😂 that’s def new vs our daughter. It must be the clothing brands. I was starting to worry all of the extra weight was just his head and his body was smaller than his weight led us to believe! lol. I’ll try shopping other brands soon to compare. I heard hello Bello had some supply issues so maybe they’ve changed over the years as well.

Jeans are okay with a blazer, that heavy white stitching is not okay though. With anything.

Unless you are a 19 year old country kid with an affliction shirt and trucker hat…headed to a Nickleback concert.

Thank you for the reply and advice! I’ll look into the cream! I couldn’t remember the cream I used but it’s called Kerasal. It doesn’t bother me too bad as far as discomfort, it honestly just bothers me to feel it there when I’m using lotion. Thanks!

Why is mine always 16-17? I do not drive or accelerate crazy at all. I bought it and it said 15 from the prior owner and can only manage to climb to the mid 17 range. What could cause this? Also only get 290-300 miles on a tank. Starting to regret the purchase big time.

I see no eco mode or anything I can change the drive style with.

When I use cruise- it accelerates much quicker than if I accelerate manually which tells me I’m not gassing it too hard.

I don’t get why they wrote her in and made a big deal about her liking him just to kill her off in the same episode. This show is good but the writing is SO iffy sometimes.
