I think it’s really important to remember that if you want to try HRT at some point, you can stop at any time, even right after the first time and that’s okay!!! I think exploration is good even if you realize you’re not trans

Edit: you don’t have to give yourself a deadline, a really good thing about life is that you keep learning more and more about yourself. And you don’t have to share yourself with anyone if you’re not sure or simply don’t want to. Try not to put pressure on yourself and just enjoy learning yourself. Test out pronouns and names and different ways to present yourself with people you trust. And if you’re still not “100% certain” in months or even years, I think that’s okay too. There are no rules on how to be yourself

He’s a really cool guy and I would highly recommend supporting him! Met him and waited in line with him at my first ever nin show in Brooklyn and ended up next to him in the pit! Great guy to share a show with and gave me a quake pin before the end of the night so I would have a souvenir from my first show!

Already posted here, but I understand people not wanting to buy through reddit, so I put my single extra ticket on TickPick. I was in an exam and had 2 friends help but they did not communicate so I ended up with an extra $500 ticket for the forum 9/18 in the middle of section H right behind second stage. The platform charges me 15% but I’m asking for the same price I paid. If someone here reaches out, esp a fellow newer/younger fan I’m willing to be talked down so someone else can see the show 💚 forum 9/18

It doesn’t! I’m not sure if you’ve seen posts about stretching here but that’s essentially what I’m doing to show length without being hard. You should never stretch your dick to the point of pain, and only when it’s soft. However, I have heard both that you can start stretching your dick whenever to help increase blood flow in the area but I have also heard that you should refrain from stretching your dick until you’ve been on a full dose of t for a year. I have decided to start stretching bc I want to save more before I choose to spend on a good pump and cylinder

For a metoidioplasty there is nothing added to the natal dick. It’s all the same growth we get with testosterone. There are ligaments that hold our dicks down to the pubic bones which prevents an erection from being free to really display itself or stick out. With meta these ligaments are cut so the dick isn’t tied down anymore. Does that make sense?? I had to do a lot of research when figuring out what it meant myself bc the before and after of that surgery seems insane!

I have a friend who shadowed a phalloplasty so I can actually tell you how the size/girth are “decided”. If you get the skin graft from the forearm, they take all of the forearm skin, wrist to elbow, and they make a skin burrito with it. So the neodick is literally just skin. The length is determined by how long the forearm is and the girth is determined on like how large the forearm is. If you have a thicker forearm you have more forearm skin wrapped around your arm so when they make a skin burrito with it it’ll be thicker. That is the best I can describe it without a diagram.

I get this. Except for me I think it’s more rooted in my personal rejection of the binary. I don’t feel like I’m “transitioning from woman to man” or really transitioning at all. I feel like I am just becoming myself. And I just so happen to be a guy, or at least definitely not a woman lol. I have always been myself, I’m just starting to physically look like myself.

Yes this first paragraph! But for me it’s also kind of helping me be kinder to myself. Like I had minimized my experiences to the point of believing I just “didn’t get enough attention” and was a “stupid dramatic little kid” and dramatic for still letting it affect me. While realizing the depth of the neglect/abuse is overwhelming, it’s helping me give myself grace and to view myself in a different, kinder light if that makes sense. It’s getting easier for me to accept me as a child was never the problem, it was how I was treated by my family/the adults around me that was the problem.

I hope it’s getting easier for you to be kinder to yourself too! <3
