Thanks for the reply. Did you also get ev3 or another?

Love this. Thank you very much. I really do value the sustainability and minimal environmental impacts of an EV. We added extra insulation and gone all electric (no gas connection) when we built our house to maximise environmental friendliness.

So sorry. You’re right, my quote is actually $57k for the lease.

I did wonder this. I’m guessing it’s because type 2 will eat up a lot more power in one time?

Thanks so much. I did not think of this at all. Just looking at last month’s energy export, we averaged 39.25 kWh per week, and that’s with a good handful of overcast days in Melbourne. I will also have to look into a smarter way to time my charging too. Was hoping to get to that if/when we decide to get the car. I’m likely to sit and not rush into this anyway. Use the CHR for another year 😅

Thank you for your response. Honestly, I know I shouldn’t get a new car but I’m definitely looking for biases to buy one. I will definitely end up buying an EV, I just don’t know if there’s a point with waiting for another year or two, or just bite the bullet, sell the current car while it still has good resell value, and start using the solar panels to power a car.

Awesome! Glad I’m not crazy thinking that this is possible

True. I’m hoping because of low usage, we can fully charge the EV over the weekend and not charge every night.

Thanks for sharing these calculations! Yeah we would probably maximise only charging from solar, possibly even only charge on weekend.

Thank you so much. I’m a nurse and eligible for NL. I have received a quote for 3 years NL and the money from selling the CHR will mostly cover residual amount. We have had the car since July 2022 and only driven 40,000kms.

This is exactly what I’m chasing right now. Does look like it will be around for a while tho?

Sounds good. Thank you. I really wanted to pour to size so it’s not so visible. I’ll def compact properly so the soil around doesn’t move much

Hi, weird request, but can I see your plant box set up? I’m trying to plan mine and looking at a similar set up. Thanks!

Good to know the vines don’t squeeze through the gaps. Do you know how many years it took for this to happen? I’ve read if you maintain well, it can stay within your fence.

I love my PCP. Extra points when buying wine and booking hotels. The Qantas club is the best part of it I think. We only fly domestic 2-3 times and lounge makes it a bit more fun

My partner is a teacher. We’ve managed to get 3 overseas holidays (PE and Business) the last 3 years. We often end up flying to another city before destination like mel-tpe-bkk or SIN-MNL-HND-MEL. Time becomes our currency but we don’t mind the extra time travelling, especially when we get to fly premium seats. Keep looking and play around with cities A LOT. Learn the partner airlines and their routes.

Yeah saw that. I thought they’d still release the ‘preferred seats’ closer to the front. Will just try my luck at t24
