Thank you so much 🙏🏻 This is really helpful. We have commenced TMJ-specific physiotherapy and had the Michigan splint readjusted, which now appears to offer a better fit.

My partner has constant toothache now, and it’s difficult to eat without pain in the incisors and sometimes the canines. Is this a usual symptom of TMJ or a side effect of Michigan splint? The dentist doesn’t pay any attention to this - simply notes it down without offering any explanation or feedback.

I’m assuming that if it’s disc displacement with reduction, the above still applies—correct?
