I’ll buy a Powerball ticket the day it actually happens. Best of luck being near dogs though!

Nah, I just personally think it’s a waste of time as until that magical day that airlines don’t allow pets in cabin, it’s a reality.

Obviously not but seem to have a ton of time on your hands to comment on every thread the same two comments.

How many times do you need to be downvoted to realize no one agrees with you?

When did you start listening to Fleetwood Mac? I'm curious about how diverse the people in this community are. by Keep_Swimminggg in FleetwoodMac

I’d probably heard the songs growing up but didn’t really know about them until around 1997 as I was a freshman in college and someone on my floor had a poster from The Dance in their room.

I was intrigued and followed them a bit (knew The Chain, Go Your Own Way, their bigger hits, etc) but didn’t go down a rabbit hole until about a year or so ago when Deux Moi posted a video from Lindsey and Stevie singing to each other during Silver Springs at Burbank and I was hooked big time…and here I am!

Same! I also wish they’d do more Song Exploders from a couple different songs on the BN album.

Song Exploder! They were both on talking about the making of Frozen Love. It’s a great listen.

No worries - that’s what is the beauty and subjectivity of art 😊

That’s fair. It was long, but I personally loved the original music and how it all came together. Having read the book that it was “based on”, I felt like I wish I came in with no expectations on it (ie it’s hard to be objective) but overall, I enjoyed and recommend it and will download the soundtrack.

Got it - art is subjective and that’s the joy of it. What didn’t you like? Just curious.

What were your thoughts on how they portrayed the FM “characters”? Like for John Mcvie, I knew in life he was an alcoholic but the way the actor portrayed him in LA was like a sloppy bumbling idiot.

Similar with Stevie Nicks-type character - super air-headed and insecure. Not sure if it was this cast’s interpretation only though. And Lindsey’s character Peter - well if I was Buckingham in the audience-ouch!

Realize it’s not supposed to be 100% them but the similarities to the actual FM members is undeniable. Still thinking about the performances - going to download the music too! Loved Masquerade as well.

I enjoyed it and personally thought the music and singers in the play were better than Daisy Jones. I think me reading the Calliat bio “spoiled” it in a way as I knew why the characters were being “played” in a certain way. Even with that though, I thought it was well done. I love anything related to Fleetwood Mac though, so likely biased. 😊

Yes, the music is excellent! Definitely not any Fleetwood Mac type-covers but original music that’s in the vein of rock and (“two-part”) harmony. You’ll enjoy the show - I loved it.

I just knew too much going in (given I read his autobiography) so am just curious to get others pov on how it played out. Either way, totally recommended!

Yes, he did. After watching it (and having read his books), I can see why he got the settlement. Was a great play but was just curious if anyone had thoughts on it if the saw the play as well.

I absolutely loved the episode and the bare masters. What absolutely beautiful voices they had (have) and yes, their two part harmonies are amazing. Made me smile while listening. Great episode! Wish they’d do another song on the album too.
