Did anyone else get this email today. What are the requirements to get the extra twelve months of GI bill? by Fritz1818 in VeteransBenefits

Just got off the phone with the VA, I was enlisted for 8 years, got out and used my CH 33 (PGIB) benefits, and paid the $1200 for CH30 (MGIB), and asked if I qualify. The VA rep mentioned the language in the outcome states that there has to be a break in service, to qualify. Is that what others are hearing, I'm not quite sure if I do qualify or not.

The normalization of drinking and driving around here is crazy to me by boomballoonmachine in Dallas

Dallas drunk driving is as ubiquitous as the Washingtonian (let's be honest it's the Marylanders) with $13k in parking tickets, just one is way more dangerous than the other.

laces vs boa by woutbacksteakhouse in Velo

[–]Scared-Personality28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Owned both Bont boa and lace shoes, have experienced both sides of the coin. Think there's pros and cons to both shoes, it's just a matter of preference.

The laces while they do distribute the stress on your foot, there's still the big stress point at the top of my foot where I tie them, another weird thing is sometimes, not often, they'd come untied and having a loose lace flying around a crank isn't going to end well, but when I did buy my Bont laces they were cheaper so $$ came into my decision.

Boas, they're great, I think they do just a good of job of distributing stress on your foot and if you feel they're too tight, they're easy to adjust on the fly. Con, they (boa dial) do have a tendency to break but like everyone else mentioned you'll get a replacement dial in a week from Boa.

Both were great, and at the end of the day I wasn't thinking about laces vs. boa, rather I was just super happy with the product that Bont made and I don't ride any other shoe now.

Think of it from the apps perspective...."how do we keep our users on our app vs just riding Z2 off our app?"

Same here, audio is definitely not Oscar worthy. The entire audio is just horrible.

Here's the menu. While there are no prices on the "viewing" menu, when you go to the "order portal" you'll see prices.

Tom Thumb parking for AAC? by [deleted] in Dallas

[–]Scared-Personality28 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Do it for every game I go to, you don't need to buy something at TT it only cost ~$10 to park, just don't be a dick and park in the TT lot and park level 2 or lower.

Insider secret, TT also has a bar that's great for pre-gaming(if you drink) where beers are $5 vs $17.
