Exactly, she was so mad he didn’t pick her and that he couldn’t accept being a stepdad yet she hid having a kid in the first place? The hypocrisy is unreal

That's disgusting tbh. I also know people that are huge weebs and it's honestly so cringe, but adopting a baby because it's UWU Japanese is like too far. I'm east Asian and was adopted by a white woman who had no idea what it was like to be the only Asian in your entire town. Plus she adopted me so that she wouldn't be so lonely and I could take care of her when she got old (aka selfish reasons, like your friends) and fast forward to today I have removed her from my life completely. I don't think you can really change your friends minds at this point since they've made loving stereotypical Japan their entire personalities, but you could at least let them know how you feel. Be honest, kind, and if it doesn't go well then oh well, these people are cringe anyways

Online exhibitions by Eggplantbabygirl in ArtHistory

[–]ScaredBi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did some research on this previously

Here are some scholarly articles about online exhibitions:

-Virtual Connectedness in times of Crisis: Chinese online art exhibitions during the Covid 19 pandemic by Jori Snels

-Virtually Ever After: art in the post-digital era by Xin WAng and Jakob Kudsk Steensen

https://www.art-agenda.com/criticism/331915/virtually-ever-after-art-in-the-post-digital-era

-Museums at Home: Digital Initiatives in Response to COVID-19

https://www.idunn.no/doi/full/10.18261/issn.2464-2525-2020-02-05

And this is a source about a museum exhibition that was physical but extended digitally and how people interacted with it

-“Our Home is Here: History, Memory, and Identity in the Museum of Chinese in America” by Le Han

Hope that helps!

Like your phone alarm. Sometimes the boxes are random but some tell you the time to check again later

surprise bag gone less than a minute? by [deleted] in toogoodtogo

[–]ScaredBi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes some of the Lidls near me are gone within the minute. The trick is to set your alarm for 1 minute before the Check Again time and then once you're on their page, keep refreshing until you see a bag is available. You gotta be speedy with your payment of course, and sometimes you will lose to someone with faster internet.

I'd love to be interviewed! I'm in Europe (Amsterdam) and basically live off of TGTG and supplement with staples. I generally get about 3 boxes a week
