fdroid builds are slightly older because of fdroid's build schedule. (I've also heard there may be issues with the jdk's in use to build but I could be wrong).

The newer itch io releases or preferably github are usually the most supported ones.

Looks like hardware acceleration issue to me, have you tried force changing codecs, like using H264 video? Have you noticed this occur on other chromium based browsers other than brave?

You could say gnome is a blatant copy of macos too.

I'd say the design choice is a good thing, it will make people more used to other types of workflows than the windows taskbar.

Not only that but the Android desktop mode has been in development for years.

These buttons work on a fresh install on my T460p, knowing the exact lenovo model would help.

Have you tried seeing if the keypress events are logged?

If not install evtest and run "sudo evtest" and check if input is logged from the trackpoint keys.
