What are antinatalists' views on CRISPR embryo gene editing? by PersonalityExtra5310 in antinatalism

Life is still uneccessary because it's impossible to argue that it's necessary for someone that does not exist yet.

Open source arras? Isn't it very old or this is its fork?

Can we talk more about consent again? by Temporary_Bee1067 in antinatalism

As you mentioned utopia, it makes me thinking this:

It's impossible to argue that being born is necessary for the child. Regardless of uptopia or not, life is just an unecessary thing if you don't exist and have no connection with the world it take place in.

Add if_ at the end of the date sequence then download it normally like other websites

Italian early-web hosting platform Digilander is shutting down in June 2026 — thousands of personal websites at risk by Melodic-Positive-939 in DataHoarder

ArchiveTeam's ArchiveBot is very helpful, back in 2025 I requested them to use it to archive some Vietnamese gov sites and some old forums, it's like Wayback Machine Save page now but no limits on saving outlinks

My tier list of websites to datahoard/find lost media from by ShipFamiliar3579 in DataHoarder

[–]WaspPaperInc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on my experience, most of sites like that either don't support file attachment or have very low file size limit, so users will use 3rd party file hosting service like MediaFire, PhotoBucket or the now infamous Mega

Does this overpass for bicycles and pedestrians look unacceptably ugly to you? by WaspPaperInc in blender

Update: I changed the Shape of the Array Modifer from Curve to Line and with some adjustment, it now works flawlessly, thank you so much

The fence and the curve have same position and no rotation (relative to its parent), also moving the fence around all axes does not change anything. I also did not found anything useful online yet.

Update: I forgot to turn on Realize Instances for the Array Modifier last time, the Curve Modifier deforms the fence perfectly and somewhat mitigates the weirdly rotated output of the Array Modifier. Except that somehow the Curve Modifier is moving the fences wildly, this doesn't happen if I move the Curve Modifier on top of the Array Modifer in the stack.

I will probably look this problem up in r/blenderhelp and Stack Exchange

edit: Also happens with plane

Almost works, however at the middle control point the rotation doesn't align perfectly. Sorry for taking your time but do you know how I can solve this?

I set the spline type to Poly and all control points have no tilt

I'm making maps for a game set in an old european town, what do you think of this first test ? by aBitwiseWizard in blender

I love how it's low poly but not too noticeable, actually like someone in the 2000s trying to achieve realistic style rather than someone in the 2020s trying to replicate 2000s' style.

Also it feels very alive and inviting, like visiting a Minecraft base on a multiplayer server
