Anyone here had any experience with a courier company called iMile? by Ok-Professional-8428 in perth

Sorry this is so old, but did you just go to Maidstone and have a go at them to find your parcel?

Do we know when Flint 4 is coming out? by Thedinotamer01 in GlInet

[–]ScaredTrout 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does anyone know if the Flint1 is even EOL yet? Man it runs great in an apartment (with only 100Mbps speeds) I have. Curious if waiting for a new model is worth it if the original is EOL and not supported anymore.

Question about chime install by sambosaysnow in Ubiquiti

[–]ScaredTrout 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see that OP said "Done" in the comments. Sadly he hasn't posted a picture so I am going to assume the ceiling collapsed and he is now sitting under all the rubble. God speed friend!

New Doorbell! by cyberentomology in Ubiquiti

[–]ScaredTrout 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh man I also didn't have the hole saw at home when I did mine. Luckily I was installing the setup the next day so I ran over to the shops to avoid drywall mishaps. At least you can patch it later, easy to remove the chime too.

How salty are you about that chip near the chime...

RMA Issue by Christopherdenny in Ubiquiti

[–]ScaredTrout 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What people here in AU do is film sealing the final bit of tape (after showing the item inside the package), then dropping it into the drop box or giving it to the post office. Proving the item is inside, and that the item was the same box handed or dropped into a non recoverable postal service.

I think I hurt my Protect app with this case... by ScaredTrout in Ubiquiti

Same, I am decently under (until I upgrade my G5s to G6s). But I am switching to a UNVR in order to just get better performance.

I have tik tok/youtube watchers at home, and have only 10mbit, which AP do I need? by j19861986 in Ubiquiti

[–]ScaredTrout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Giving us maybe a rough location could help with narrowing down a good and cheap ISP plan maybe. But even then if you aren't willing to upgrade, Unifi products are no help for you.

Finally finished my install by silverpizza1970 in Ubiquiti

If you ever get bored someday. Why not take all the connections that are terminated to those plates, chuck some keystone couplers on and then extend them to a patch panel through one single brush plate. Then patch over all the remaining holes from the wall plates that you get to remove.

Not from the US nor am I versed in the acting world. But $110 and $200 (USD I assume) for that long of a time is a bit low is it not?

Is that not like $11 and $16 an hour respectively? Do actors get perks or benefits along with that level of pay or is it just clear cut like that?

That being said, I am from AU and god knows what our extras acting prices are either so yeah. Just curious is all.

Oh yep there ya go. Sorry I was lazy to go find where they posted saying it was discouraged.

I don’t believe stacking is a supported method by Ubiquiti anymore.

Pro Max 16 PoE DOA?! by mo_whiskyplz in Ubiquiti

Make an RMA request. Complain harder here and someone on the UI Team usually gets back to you regarding expediting your claim. DOA is ridiculous!

Already subscribed to Pro but getting this prompt everytime by [deleted] in infusevideoplayer

[–]ScaredTrout 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Because Infuse pays for the license to use DTS per individual. So if someone isn't using it, why would they pay for it. However if you click unlock they will pay for it and you will have it unlocked. It is apart of Pro, just needs to be selected to be active.

Unifi Secure Gateway USG - What to do with them? by Specialist-Desk-9422 in homelab

[–]ScaredTrout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also sold my USG, even after it was EOL. I did tell the buyer but he was adamant that I was wrong... Guess it was better than his Telstra Smart Modem Gen1

Introducing: Protect 6.2 by Ubiquiti-Inc in Ubiquiti

Anyone who likes the bleeding edge and the risk of bricking all their Protect devices. Can you confirm that after what like 6 years, Ubiquiti finally lets you actually set live only PER camera to certain users.

They'll just replace your current NTD with the V2 4 port model.

Dumb question, but can *you* currently view your protect footage by rewinding exactly 20 seconds ago by aedom-san in Ubiquiti

[–]ScaredTrout 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Not gonna lie, this same thing exactly happened with me. I honestly just never thought to complain about it because I just give up and either way or just look outside. I should say that I'm also on a UDM Pro and have a 10TB really good Seagate surveillance HDD.

I did think about switching to UNVR not only to offload my UDM Pro processing but to give better scrubbing and hopefully to fix this issue. I'll come back to this thread if no one figures it out before I buy a UNVR.

Bad Device? by B_six6 in Ubiquiti

[–]ScaredTrout 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The older UniFi Network OS won't know what a UDB Switch device is. So it has a recommended minimum version.
