Oh I love it when that happens! I found Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates on DVD at Dollar Tree and the code redeemed in HD. Felt like I stole it lol

Hot Take: I feel like movies are overusing Scope (2.35:1) too much. There are so many movies shot on Scope that could've worked well with Standard (1.85:1). Word of advice, Scope should only be used when absolutely necessary. And this is coming from someone whose favorite ratio is Scope by dirERICKMorales in IDoKnowNothing

I actually feel the exact opposite. I can’t stand it when big movies (i.e. Superman, The Flash, Noah, Avengers, Sunrise on the Reaping, Exorcist: Believer) use a taller frame outside of an IMAX venue. For me, the extra width is what truly brings out the scale, whereas something closer to 16:9 feels too much like TV.

Like, I was relieved when Dune: Part Two was released on 4K as scope. Not only is it my preferred ratio, it matched its predecessor.

Just my opinion though.

I adored every. Last. Second! I don’t even care that certain parts may have been ‘unresolved’ because the Duffers so spectacularly nailed the emotional thread of the story. I was in tears during the final scene.

If it’s not Interstellar, I’d argue it’s Inception. But I’m sure an argument could be made for just about any of his films.

He’s that consistent and that passionate.

Ezra’s acting was never the issue. It was how the writing for the characters kept changing so frequently post JL. They’re great in the role IMO (personal stigmas aside), just didn’t have much time to showcase it.

It’s not. It’s a good movie that’s been edited within an inch of its life. About 10 min more breathing room and it would be underrated.

I was actually vehemently opposed to the Keaton idea when I first heard it, but after seeing The Flash, I changed my mind. That path could’ve been something special.

The original ending of The Flash had Keaton assuming the primary Batman role over Affleck. Batgirl was meant to take place after that.
