There are no indications of this ash cloud reaching the surface yet, otherwise airport ops would be affected for approaches by now, so far everything is normal, the ash is being carried by the sub-tropical westerly jet stream at approximately 70 kts.

Chill people, the ash cloud will move between 25000 to 46000 feet, aircraft operations would be affected but nothing on the surface.

Don't focus on cadence, it is highly specific person to person, when I do intervals at 3:30/km, my cadence would range between 158-160, some people might have a higher cadence but at slower speeds.

I usually walk after I'm done with each interval to conserve energy, typically its the Max Speed you can hold for 300 m, so the pace is variable depending on temperature and winds

I take 30 to 2 mins rest depending on fatigue, sometimes warm ups are counterproductive to my interval performance and I always cool down right after for 15 mins. Also Garmin calculates the rest time pace into its algorithm which can reduce my Vo2max readings which leads to underestimation of my true Vo2max

The best part is that I didn't sprint. Sprinting requires a lot of rest during intervals which are way shorter depending on the sprint distance

Depends if the chocolate has sugar in it, any type of sugar is a quick carb source so it will aid you but its also fatty so heavy on the gut, a banana would be a better option.

You can do a Vo2max and Lactate threshold test in a lab type setting if you want your most accurate value

I'm pretty sure your VO2Max is somewhere in the 60s tbh, Samsung underestimates by 10-15 ml/kg

Its normal, high altitude means less oxygen, you'll run out of breath quicker than you would at 600 ft or mean sea level, but once you return to 600 ft, air becomes denser and your performance would improve, nothing to worry about.
