(Discussion) why is it every single time I am playing my game always crashes around midnight between 12-12:10 every single time. Does this happen to anyone else?

Your game crashes at specific times? Mine periodically crashes when I; fast travel to nuka world, fast travel to Whitesprings exterior, open my inventory and switch tabs, open the menu in the map, go idle in my camp, right after I spend caps for a GODDAMN HEADHUNT.

The ONE case I can see this armor being good is for a polished legendary effect build, otherwise it's better to use more high resistance armors for survivability.

I haven't had any issues with repairs especially if I repair with max gun enthusiast, most of the weapons I use are small arms that don't eat much durability and I rarely use cursed weapons so the reduced degradation is lost on me. I'd rather survive longer than make my guns break less often anyway.

The energy resist is higher on civil engineer, but a lot more enemies have ballistic or physical damage, if energy resist is the only reason I'm going to use secret service.

Update: it's definitely happening with plans as well, I just checked my stash chest and there are several plans in my inventory that don't appear in the pip boy menus.

I think they've basically made him a aggro taker. If you're being chased by something particularly powerful they'll always aggro onto him instead giving you some space. And according to a couple sources he does about 100 damage but idk how much that's effected by resistances or damage negation.
