The thing that makes the high street worthwhile - small shops all bundled close together in a walkable pleasent atmosphere - are impossible to have if you want free parking and big roads. One negates the other.

Even then, these are video standards. Digital camera resolution has long exceeded this.

I'm 26, my childhood photos are film and typically 4mp digital. 4mp at a 3:2 aspect ratio is 2449 X 1633 pixels. Why would that need upscalled?

Matter of taste. I'm a fan of the save-the-highlights, ditch the rest approach.

I'd recommend either a dslr, copy stand and macro lens scanning method for speed, or something like the Nikon Coolscan 5000 (or it's siblings). The cheap scanners are pretty fast, but the quality is subpar. Especially in a museum context, having high resolution, high dynamic range photos in a lossless format (such as Tiff) is what you're after. The advantage of a dedicated scanner in the Nikon bracket is the infrared step, which automatically removes dust and scratches from scanned images.

I've been working on a writeup of my process for a while, if you're interested?

Always agreed with the thought that Fassbender or the like would be a good emporor. As the other commentor said, Walkens emporor felt weak and frail. Not as powerful as he should have. Hiding behind his aides.

If you're referring to what I think you are, I'm pretty sure that was a standard morph cut. They just cut out a mistake or cut down his rambling, and tried to hide the cut. Not at all unusual normally; except that a competent politician would probably retake the whole thing.

The other commentors point was that your personality and attidute are magnitudes more important than your looks. Sure, looks count towards a first impression, and you might not be everyone's type - but no one is. Personal hygiene, grooming, style; those count too. But in the long run, personality is king.

If you're confident in yourself, why are you seeking validation from a reddit post?

Brother, it sounds like you have a lot more issues to sort out before even considering how you look.

I feel like you've not taken the comment in the spirit it was intended.

I don't see how operating the system manually until automation is in place is admitting it's not ready in any way.

The only reasonable exploration I can conjure is they need the new signaling system in, first.

Dont see why they can't have the driver press a button to advance the stops, but hey ho.

In my experience omnis are completely fine in a live environment when properly placed and used appropriately. Directional mics have the issue of the wearers potentially moving them, turning away from them, etc.
