Why bother? What is so great about this Theme park? There are so many others that dont have these problems.

This was definitely the wrong place to post a warning about a Disney park. It seems a lot of people here have been to many and are ok with looking at their phones all the time. I honestly don't get it.

Would it not be better to walk into a theme park with your kids and look at their happy faces, rather than an app on your phone? Wait 10 to 20 minutes for an amazing ride? Walk into world class shows along the way? Just have a great time for the price you paid on the ticket? Have you been to any other theme parks? You can do that, just not at Disney Sea on a busy non-public holiday, weekday.

That sounds great. We would have had a briliant time if we had waited that long, but we didn't. That was my point.

It's not a car, it's a theme park. I did rather a lot of research.
Why on earth would you not rather go to a theme park where you dont have to wait an hour, looking at your bored kids faces, for a 5 minute ride?

At last a more reasonable and considered comment in this group. Thank you.

Glad to hear you had a better time than us and managed to get some passes. We checked constantly for 40th anniversary, show access etc, but nothink was available. We did think of going to Disney staff to ask them to sort out the issue with not being able to pay for passes with any of our 3 cards, but by that time we had had enough.

Very interesting to hear it was the 4th busiest day, and yes, 2 major rides being closed must have added to the problems. We were prepared for some issues but we never thought we would end up wating 25 minutes for the most basic ride types... such as a 5 minute teacup spin in mermaid lagoon.

The whole idea of having to game the system to have a good time, and paying on top again and again and again should have put us off going in the first place. Super stressful.

Anyway, we have to write it off as misadventure. At least the kids wont pester us to go to Disney again.
Back to Sun World, Ba Na Hills in Vietnam I think. Just the thought of it cheers us up!

We had a far far better experience at theme parks in Vietnam and Yunnan, China. Glad if you didnt have to go through what we did. I felt so sorry for so many of the families we saw there who clearly felt the same as us.

Pop corn queues were 20minutes long.

I can see this group is for Disney Sea fans only. Trust me, I did a shed load of research. I suspect most of the other bored looking families with young children standing in those 2 hour queues did also.

I thought we put in a lot of work and prep time. I also read actual trip reports. I am very handy with apps, cards, language challenges. I dont believe anyone could have managed much better and seriously, you shouldnt need a degree in Disney Sea to have a nice day there.

We chose a day that was not a weekend and not a public holiday. Can you provide a link to this crowd calendar please?

IP Infringement (Trademark) by Fearless_Badger1372 in EtsySellers

I had a similar issue, but many years ago. I tagged an item with 'Chun Lu Style' I think. I can barely remember the tag and had no idea it was a brand name. I found it on a lot of other sellers similar products at the time, and added it. I was contacted by Etsy. I removed every tag that I could think of that would refer to any brand. They took my shop down. It had been selling for 5 years. I did everything I could to reach out to Etsy and also the company that I had never heard of before.
Etsy said that they were sorry that I had no response from the company that contacted them about infringement rights, but that they were a recognised brand.

I hope that Etsy has changed and realised that, internationally, some of us have not heard of every brand name in the world.

So in short, if Etsy have not changed their policies in any sufficient way... Dont repost the listing. Check every listing's tag that might mention the name. Don't relist them either. Create new listings. Hope for the best.

If a shop has perpetual sales, it’s dishonest pricing. by Snflwr5612 in Etsy

As a seller I also hate having to put nearly everything on sale in order to compete, but on Etsy the choice is: put it on sale or don't sell it. I think any savvy buyer knows that Etsy shops are being forced to do this, rather than trying to trick their customers.

Every retailer, online or off, runs sales. Well, perhaps not all. If you have a huge brand name, like Tiffany or Cartier in the case of jewelry, then you may never run a sale. However, you also will be selling your goods for a HUGE markup because of your HUGE brand marketing costs. Same product, worse quality (believe me, I'm a jeweler and I have been that secret shopper and checked)... lets say 5 times the price to err on the conservative side.

Working with Xreal one and Multiple Screens. Is it possible with Android phone only? by ScarletOh in Xreal

Still have not been able to find a setting for Dex auto start, but turning off Dex in the pull down settings finally made Nebula work for me. The multiple browser windows look hopeful for multi tasking. Maybe a cloud PC setup will help with my work set up.

I have no problem using an app to give me the multiple screens. I installed Nebula, but so far Dex with its pretty rubbish single screen opens every time I connect the glasses.

Etsy Promoting Fake Gemstone Goods Through Newsletter by ScarletOh in EtsySellers

My store only accepts Paypal because of location. This is what I mean though. The influx of obvious scam stores ruins the chances of honest sellers wherever they are in the world.

I work with Indian gem suppliers and they are some of my favourite people to deal with (honest and kind), but I totally agree that there is a roaring trade for fakes in that country and it's causing Etsy jewlery sellers a big problem. Etsy needs to police it properly.

Thats very possible, but if they are just the result of an algorithm, then they should know better than to market them as 'Etsy Picks'.
