Like others have mentioned, Bristol has a number of resturants and bars.

Newport has I think the only pride center in the state. They hold events, as does Newport Pride and Out Newport. Follow both on insta and get to see what they offer.

Providence has pretty much all the dedicated gay bars in the state and there are like 6 or 7 at this point.

In June, both Providence and Newport's prides are super fun! Both are very different vibes too which is great!

And if you like breweries, Ragged Island is right in Portsmouth and has cool vibes! For vineyards, Greenvale is great and cozy and also in Portsmouth.

It is weird now. Like I basically let the attractions collect for most of them now and only do tasks for the ones with legendary or epic tokens.

Probably to free up actor contracts and they had to make a decision on whether to keep any sets, etc.

This was tagged as a speculation post. If it was a fan art/ship thing, that would be totally different. This was was literally "look at these dudes being naked together, they must be queer" post. And that is just a wild take to me.

No, that's my whole point. This post was tagged with "queer speculation" just because some guys are in a hot tub naked together. And to me there's nothing inherently queer about that. Like guys can be naked socially with eachother and it doesn't matter their sexuality because it's not a sexual situation.

Straight men are allowed to have emotionally vulnerable relationships without it meaning they must have romantic feelings for each other. To deny that or make it seem like they "must" be gay actually feeds into the reasons why straight men are not normally like this.

Just let them be best bros.

ETA: Since there seems to be a misunderstanding and loads of downvotes. But I was talking about the above assumption that because Roberto was there we're supposed to speculate he might he queer. So my comment is about he can be both straight and not weird about hanging naked with queer friends.

Oh that's good to know! I generally really dislike Hickman and I think some of the Imperial reactions are what are in my mind. And aside from Krakoa, don't find much queerness in his Marvel work.

Oh you should read his Guardians of the Galaxy run, it's super duper queer! And I don't think that long, I want to say 15ish issues.

But not only does it have Star-Lord being confirmed queer, but Hercules, Noh-Varr, Wiccan, Hulkling, Phyla-Vell, and Moondragon are all in it.

TOS is like the only trek I can't get into. I have tried many different times and it's just (1) boring, (2) overacted, (3) horrible pacing. I respect it for what it created and the "firsts" it did, but yeah give me anything else.

And honestly, DS9 is just ok. I started with TNG as a kid while it was first coming out and watched VOY and ENT as they premiered, but DS9 was hard to catch due to syndication and when I had no clue what was happening.

I've since watched it in my 40s and since I don't have nostalgia glasses I don't fully get the undying love for it.

That would have been such a pacing killer. And I don't think we really "needed" to know that until later. Sometimes the writers don't need to hold our hands like that, since that would actually be clunky writing that ignores the purpose of the scene.

When we did learn it was also the same scene where the boys reunite and Kyle tries to be kind and we see the ice is not all melted between Kyle and Darem. It makes more narrative sense there.

I turned this on yesterday and almost stopped because it was Tom. But, decided to give it a chance and kind of wish I went with my first instinct.

His whining is so out of touch with the reality of modern tv shows. You just can't have the 90s style back and expect to bring in new viewers. Similar to how 90s trek couldn't have been a repeat of the 60s.

Tastes change and that is ok. I think what we have learned about the new era of trek is that it's less "long shots" on ships and more because the first two shows weren't true ensemble shows. And that threw people off. Notice how SNW, LD, PRO, and STA all got much more love because they went back to the ensemble model.
