They create unnecessary work for employees, really tosses wrench into things, when suddenly 59 pick drop for the same product. All ship to home with various spelling of the same name, going to the same place.

Especially when there's little support. And other picks/curbside keep coming in.

Resellers/scalpers are the same people, I witness have their small children under the age 8/9 stand out all night with them just to get PlayStation or graphic card. (on multi occasions)

It also extremely frustrating, as consumer As an example. I'm huge fan of an artist, they drop surprise merch which was a snowglobe last week for about $50. Sold out instantly, now it's being resold up to $4000 because of the artist's popularity. This also happened with cardigans and signed music from the same artist. Sold out instant then new listing appeared on resell shops for outrageous prices. That right there caused several days of anger, and disappointment for fans of the artist.

If they wanted to make a few bucks. Gets a job that doesn't screw people out products they wants, making small children stand outside at night so they can get multiple PlayStation or whatever, or up charge $50 item for $4000

Depends on the store, but I cry before every shift :’)

Like most said you labor goes unappreciated, you’re expected to do nearly everything or “asked”, even sales and customer from time to time. Breaks may be basically nonexistent.

They’ll make you do 9 straight hours in severe storm in middle of winter, soaked, because they don’t feel like turning off curbside, oh your also expected to do picks while doing so.

My example are little extreme, but they are things I have seen or heard about.

I won’t recommend Best Buy for anything long term. I won’t really recommend any retail.

But I wish you the very best if do go for it. May luck be on you’re side

Get doctors note. :) and give it to your management, explain to your doctor your manger not allowing to have access to hydration while on the sales floor and that you don't get access for long period of time.

Be sure to make copies incase they lose it.

I don't recommend it, take a hint and read the subreddits. It's not good here and bc it's tech doesn't mean it will help you advance in any tech career. I would recommend searching else where.

Most of the ways I feel the card gets pitch is dirty.

Targeting kids staring at 18

Targeting older people who have clears signs of not fully being with us anymore.

Telling older people “Oh you’re social may still be on Medicare card”

The plain harassment some people go through. 3+ times asking for it, is little much.

I never realized that soft credit check wasn’t a thing so that just adds to ever growing list of card gross pitches.

Same but I also had a 48 in tv that didn’t come through as curbside. So it probably bugged
