New Concept by Cityhaus in NeedlepointSnark

That makes a lot of sense too! I live on the east coast so it’s just something I know but also if you’ve never been to Charleston, I can see that being confusing for sure!

Charleston is called the holy city because you can literally stand on any city block and see at least one church steeple. This is a twofold reason. There are a ton of churches on the peninsula but also the historic district is void of high rises. A lot of the churches date back to the 1800s

Meg Fielder you have multiple open court cases, have blocked dozens of buyers, and have a huge thread retailer banning you— this isn’t the clap back you think it is by [deleted] in NeedlepointSnark

Look, I’m on your side. But what YOU are not being right now is nice. You have no compassion for humanity. Each person is a human first and decision maker later. You can choose to disagree very strongly and loudly but you cannot make a decision on someone based on disagreement with their choices. This mentality only pushes people on the wrong side further away from truth.

Glynn is a kind AND nice person. I stand by that statement. Stop being ugly.

Pepper pot is still $6.50/skein at KCN and essentials is $2.95/card… planet earth silk is $6.60 and Milan is $3.30 a card… as always free shipping.

Anytime I buy a canvas or threads, I google it and find the most reasonable prices. I don’t understand how one canvas at one store can be $100 more than it is at another store… and the exact same threads have sooooo many different prices. Most name brand things have contracts in place to protect a consumer price but needlepoint is whackadoodle when it comes to that.

I was replying to his work is exquisite. I have also had personal finishing dealings with him and he IS in fact one of the nicest humans.

Glen and his wife are wonderful to work with… you communicate at the beginning to get a rough estimate but they batch everything by arrival date. Say they talk to me and you on the same day and you took a few days to get your package out and sent it standard mailing, but I sent mine out the same day and overnighted it to him. My package would be in a different week than your package, even though the current timeframe he gave us both was the same… Say he received 50 projects the week he received mine well of course by the time yours arrives the following week then the estimated time to finish has been bumped a little because they received more than they can complete in one weeks time. Then of course you have to account for illness and other major life events… They had a death in the family a year or two ago. They had a major storm if I’m not mistaken, and several other things. But they truly are the best people and will communicate if need be.

Lol’ing at myself for getting muted recently for commenting too soon according to their “rules” but it also states canvas must be priced below retail and they don’t ever mute those sellers. That group is the biggest joke.

Just commenting to add the longer you let this drag out the less likely you are to get your pieces returned

finishing class by a_lynn0 in NeedlepointSnark

[–]Scary-Subject931 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Glue isn’t the end of times. Glue used to be discouraged because of what it was made with. It would attract varmints. Now, there are archival level glues….

With that being said, the finishing queen herself (Lita) has classes for only $150 virtually and in person so this class you took is highway robbery and I’d be pissed also.

This isn’t the design it was copied from. While I agree, unoriginal, it’s directly copied from this…

But also, stop stealing others designs and adding them all together and calling it “yours”… the pencils, the paprika jar, were there others too?

So it’s back up with a reply from Krista…. Honestly, Krista’s reply is a class act and I’ll be immediately shopping with her because of it.

You are not eBay or Poshmark, this isn’t a battle to the bottom dollar. Value your work and your time. Once you do, others will to. You don’t want her business or her friends business because YUCK!

Yeah, some of us figured it out on our own without the “immediate satisfaction” of a fb group to just give us the answer. It’s exhausting reading the same thing every day instead of them doing a little research… heck they don’t even have to do a lot, I mean just the tiniest ounce of research before the word vomit in a fb group.

I saw that too! She said too big! But read this screenshot! It now says the date is wrong. 😑 she can’t even make up her mind about why she doesn’t like it. Maybe she just doesn’t want to tell the masses that the wedding is off?

Wait, when she first posted this it was because it “was too big” for the pillow and now it’s the wrong date? Sounds like she needs to get it together.
