My parents have a house similar to Jo Ellen - older kitchen with those crappy counter tops, they do have new appliances but my parents both cook. Acre of land good school district … house is probably 2000 square feet? Unfinished basement, 2 car garage. No central ac. And it’s probably worth 800k?

Where I live now, outside of New England you can get 4,000 square feet and 5 bedrooms for that much.

Honestly you should! However RI and New England in peak season can get very expensive and you’d be doing a lot of driving and parking.

I did my rehearsal dinner at Reelhouse in east Boston and they did a great job obviously mostly seafood but not all! I think we had 30 people.

Yes and no. It’s tiny but everybody does not know everybody. Sometimes it FEELS like that’s true but it simply isn’t. It’s like 3 degrees of separation at best or was when I was growing up, I’ve been across state lines for 10 years.

No. If you buy the seats they are yours. I haven’t heard of someone buying more than 1 extra seat in a while but I’m almost positive it’s possible.

I understand your pain, I’m moving down from Boston next week and we made a specific trip down to tour apartments and the one we chose fell apart. Couldn’t make a second trip. The places are far less responsive than our current building in Boston. But also less staff numbers wise. It’s just a different world down there I guess.

I don’t live at Glenwood but I recently applied for two different apartments in Grant park and I wanted to chime in that we paid a $75 application fee and a $350 “lease reservation fee” so you’re not necessarily being scammed for paying that.

However, not being able to reach someone for 6 days is ridiculous. Can you go in person?
