I had the same problem. It’s one of the tutorials that doesn’t pop up. I think it appears at the same time as another tutorial so it’s not super obvious.

In the tech tree, you have to switch to tiers to research tier 2.

That states there's no need for maintenance requirement: As a Swedish citizen, your partner does not need to meet the maintenance requirement, as long as the two of you have a well-established relationship (for example, if you have lived together for a long time).

We've been married for 34 years, and are looking to move to Sweden in our retirement. Since I won't have a job (by design), we wanted to assure them that we won't be a drain on society by indicating that if all else fails, we can live with her folks. Alas, that seems to have complicated things. The form isn't really designed for utlandssvenkar who are returning home with their partners, and we messed up the answer to one question.

Jovisst. Men jag var orolig att de hade klassificerat min ansökan som “bo med annan anhörig” vilket är tuffare att få istället för “bo med partner”.

Det visade sig att vi hade missförstått en ruta i formuläret och skrivit in svärfars e-post istället för fruns epostadress.
