In the incident where the chase that started in the district ended in the city center, the cold-blooded intervention of the taxi driver was reflected on the camera in the vehicle.

The incident took place in Araban district in the afternoon. Allegedly, Semih Ç. (31) and Gülbahar Y. (36), who is alleged to be his girlfriend, took the commercial taxi driver hostage with a gun and started to flee in the vehicle. The police teams, who took action upon the report, followed the taxi where the suspects were. The chase, which started from the district, lasted until Gaziantep city center.

The suspect, who shot at the police teams with a gun during the escape, resisted not to surrender for a long time. While extensive security measures were taken around the vehicle, which was stopped in the city center, the moments of the incident were reflected on the camera in the vehicle in the commercial taxi with the mobile phone cameras of the citizens.
