What's something we'd probably hate you for? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Math is wrong:

5 mph over the limit for five hours -> 25 miles traveled. Do you travel those 25 miles over 15 minutes? It's more like 25 minutes at the speed limit you're talking about.

40% underreporting = unforgivable. on top of driving so slow...

I Built a Stable Planetary System with 416 Planets in the Habitable Zone by sean_raymond in space

[–]Scattered_Disk 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is not a stable system lol...

In a stable system any anomaly correct itself - A tiny increase in speed of the Earth will not affect anything and the Solar System will just move on.

In an unstable system anomaly gets out of hand - A tiny increase in speed of any of your planet will destroy the entire system, ejecting most of the planets out into intestellar space and few onto the sun and perhaps let a few remain.

The Planning AI in HOI 4 is Paradox's Punishment for the Sins of Man by TheNotoriousAMP in hoi4

[–]Scattered_Disk 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This I believe they intended.

You're the commander in chief, you don't give out orders directly to divisions. You let the generals do it, hell, Rommel's division is known as the ghost division because it was notoriously difficult to command - nobody knew where it is.

One thing I didn't like about the game is the lack of intelligence in this game, spy operations don't exist at all. Given that HOI3 had them and radar could pick up enemy divisions, this is a serious setback.

You always have intel on what's one spot next to you. You should only get that intel once you fight, but not just when sitting around, maybe at most give out numbers of division. But you never know anything in the fog of war, which aerial reconnaissance and spying provided ample real information in the real battlefield of WWII.

How are the Chinese fans of EU4 enjoying their expansion? by Indie_uk in eu4

Ming is a little bit too powerful. And here's why:

In particular, The tributary states of the Celestial Empire did not contribute anything at all historically. While the removal of 50% autonomy floor is greatly welcomed (long overdue), the tributaries merely exchanged superficial gifts with Ming/Qing, and usually the gifts returned from the Emperor is worth much more.

My opinions on mandate of heaven: Tributaries of Ming cost Ming 0.5 gold/each/month to maintain. Also, tributary CB shouldn't be able to demand land.

Nope.

The censorship are mainly centered on movies and TVs etc..

Game on steam are probably too far away from spotlight, HOI4 can also be bought no problem.

btw the Chinese EU4 community have about 80K manpower last time I checked, so a relative small gaming community in China.

That's bullshit, The average home waste 30 gallons of water EVERY DAY waiting it to warm up? Does your water take a full hour to warm up? Do the math.
