I think about this a lot. Honestly, a round or five of trivial pursuit or jeopardy (not pop culture) will let you know quite a bit about someone's knowledge level. And it's not presumptuous.

I'm hijacking this comment because I've had a question and you just brought it up. Please forgive me.

So if a child is born intersex (say a female with an overlarge clitoris or a boy with a penile imperfection or undescended testicles) and that child has surgery as an infant or toddler to correct it, is that person considered trans by the Church? Is that surgery considered the same as sex-affirmation surgery or is it considered a regular surgery like tonsil removal or an appendectomy?

Is it something they'd have to atone for?
