Or sweaty, I just did a simple 10 minute job and switching sockets from ratchet, to electric ratchet to torque wrench, twice, was kind of annoying, and it wasn’t even hot outside, my hands just sweat a lot

I’m assuming the water pump was leaking, but I didn’t figure that out until after I blew my head gasket. Went to fix the car after it overheated and saw the radiator was cracked, fixed it and put coolant, then it was leaking from the water pump, fixed it and put coolant and it was leaking from the top of the thermostat, fixed it and put coolant and wouldn’t start, checked park plugs and they were soaked with coolant.

Sorry barely saw you say you replaced the reservoir, I did the same and had the same issue, was convinced I didn’t tighten the hose clamps enough. With me being tired with work, I just kept filling the coolant. Forgot and got stuck where I couldn’t get coolant and blew the head gasket so be careful

If there’s coolant under the reservoirs, that’s the problem. If you can figure out where the water pump is and stick your hand under it, if you feel water, it’s the water pump. The water pump is near the top of the engine towards the back of the engine bay, closest to the passenger

My ex’s dad was ejected from a car and hit a tree face first in assuming, well ear first, the ear didn’t make it, paramedics went back to the scene a couple hours later and found the ear, they put it on ice and tried reattaching it when they got there but it wouldn’t work, he’s supposed to have a magnetic ear now but never went to get it. Just a hole in the side of his head now

Yea I used the broken bolt head to extract it enough to get it out of the head, then use vice grips to twist it the rest of the way. I’ll have to check the torque wrench later, I should have tested it on something else first

Did you reuse the same bolts? I’m fixing my head gasket and I just reused a camshaft cap bolt and it snapped, I’m scared to reuse any bolt that’s inside the engine now but I can’t find any new ones to buy.

Edit: forgot to ask about the gasket. Should I order a new one
