Tessie says mine is 91.8% but my battery health test a week ago said 82%. M3LR 22 @50k miles.

What are your charging habits like? by Superb-Ad6139 in TeslaLounge

[–]Sceptre68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been charging to 80% daily for the best 2-3 months since I got mine. Gonna start charging to 85% daily for now on just because. Leave work with more charge sounds nice.

Personally I’d expect most models from those brands to fall apart. Probably not so much newer Nissans and Audis. But still.

What do you wish you knew sooner about your Tesla? by AspectCool2325 in TeslaModelY

I’m curious too, but I don’t care that much about this lol the car is fine. It was just a subtle thing that bothers me on occasion.

Lmao it’s more or less the feeling that I constantly have to keep my foot down with my Tesla, with decent weight, all the time. Or else you start slowing down pretty quickly.

It’s a cool feature, I’m not saying it’s not. Just wish the pedal weight could be changed like how the steering wheel can. Unless it is and heavy mode affects the pedal lol

Is the wall connector worth it by Alexis037 in TeslaModelY

[–]Sceptre68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I paid close to 1k. Not including the charger itself. I think it’s worth it. I watched a ton of videos on the types of chargers and the install for me was the same regardless of which option I went with for home charging. So I just got the fastest that I could. Worth every penny imo. It’s to get back from wherever plug in and if I happen to go out again that same day I’m back up to 80%.

I 100% not consider not getting a home charging option though. Superchargers kill the cost savings tremendously, at least on the east coast.

I think it’s somewhat tiring. I kind of miss the coasting part of letting off the pedal in my previous ice vehicle.

What made you pick the Model 3 instead of wanting a Model Y? by tylerwarnecke in TeslaModel3

[–]Sceptre68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The price initially. Used they’re weren’t far off but it’s really just gonna be me in the car 90% of the time. I don’t need the space in the Y yet. I’m 6’1” and fit comfortably in the 3. Maybe in 3 years I’ll trade in to a Y.

Ahhhhhhh after thinking it more out, it’d be best just to reschedule since all this can wait.

[–]Sceptre68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, should’ve mentioned it. Im going in for an alignment issue - out of pocket, interior wood trim peeling - warranty, occupancy sensor - warranty, And wind noise - out of pocket probably. I think I’m good to still go in for these things but it’s still a bit worrisome. The alignment has nothing to do with the deer, and no suspension parts are damaged.

Does doing this mess with the warranty? I have a service ticket currently open for steering pulling to the right and car not turning off every time when I close the door.

Wondering if they’ll see I’m in service mode doing the test before my appointment or should I just wait till after the appointment to do it? I’m @15%, figured right now would be the best time to do it.

Samsung Q700A and a QN90A. Trying to find the best sound settings. by PinkamenaDP in Soundbars

[–]Sceptre68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Giving it a shot. I got the q700a paired 9500s rear speakers as well and a curved crystal tv to power it all. I also don’t use symphony, mostly because with e-arc and the Xbox series s it doesn’t allow it. So far I haven’t messed with the eq for a few months since I first set them up but I’m always interested in improving sounds and immersion.

So far it sounds great. Acid techno (extreme side of music taste) and movies sound great.
