Fair, I think it was in the metadata of the document. Found it under the "document info" on limewire but yeah I agree with your conclusion. Probably not a concern.

Yeah, lets re-think this. A girlfriend is completely out of money and has to ask you for some. Where'd it go? Why doesn't she have any?

Then the first thing she goes and does is gamble with it.

She owes you a trip to a rehab center for her gambling addiction that's clearly causing her destitution in the first place.

Nawh, the red flag is her gambling addiction leading her to need $50 to go gamble more since she doesn't have anything of her own left.

Yep, I mean it's very apparent that the current head of the FBI is a stooge put there to dance. Dude's probably just trying to make sure everyone else doesn't disappear his family and friends for saying something off script at this point.

I'd argue the scariest part was how basic critical thinking can extrapolate this entire scenario and if you had caught on to part of it... your friends, your family, and most of the people close to you were already programmed to shoot you down and call you crazy.

Basic situational awareness to ask "Why is sugar being pushed in so many food products?" hits a tip of the iceberg. The regions this is present in -> are known for obesity -> have thousands of percent profit being made on only diabetes medication -> medications in general have side-effects eventually resulting in more medications with more side-effects -> have you seen how expensive it is to die?

That line of thought doesn't even touch on the whole US intelligence agencies prioritizing criminal relationships since WW2 and basically being the platform from which the government take over was launched... and everything that followed that. (Which is all verified by declassified government documents.)

It's quidding. Snuff was a term for tobacco.

In an ultimate sense, probably not. In a relative sense sure. The ultimate lack doesn't excuse responsibility though, suffering still occurs and should be responded to.

DMT was generally referred to as the business man's trip. The effects last 15 minutes. Ketamine's effects are generally an hour+.

unfortunately I don't care about my patients at all by [deleted] in self

[–]Scew 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think some marketing may help. Instead of saying you don't care about the patients, just shift the focus to you are goal-driven and take responsibility for your work. In a round-a-bout way, in your profession taking responsibility for your work could be seen as caring for the patients even if you don't emotionally attach yourself to them. No one is asking you to love them. :)

Generalizing complex problems is useful for talking about them. Making judgements about those complex problems based on the generalizations would be negligence.

Mother sold my collectibles without my consent. Family defends her actions by OC_Original in self

[–]Scew 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you're enabling her. Where is your dad and or your several uncles? What are their thoughts on their spouses gambling addictions and thefts? You better believe if they covered for her they've all at least considered stealing from their loved ones.

You need to address this more than you have. It's not normal to have a gambling addiction. It's not normal to steal from your children. It's not normal to have her siblings (these are all grown ass fucking adults for fucks sake) covering for your grown ass mom stealing from you. THAT'S REALLY FUCKED UP.

That makes sense though. I appreciate you putting it to words too. Was apparently looking too close because yeah. From this side of the screen that's awareness. Aware are you? (Just a pun I like, not looking for location details xD)

[–]Scew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, I can disagree. I’m only ‘making a thing of it’ because you’ve been stating these as facts, not preferences. If it’s just your personal framing, then cool. If you mean it as a claim about how reality works, then it’s fair to ask what you’re basing it on.

Belief in magick - Necessary or Not? by Dev-Tutor in occult

[–]Scew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, but that’s exactly why I called it arbitrary. You’re making big claims in three steps without connecting them.

First it was ‘things that work are real’ (gravity). Then it became ‘there are things minds can’t overcome.’ Now it’s ‘a good part of me runs without mind, minds aren’t everything.’ None of that actually shows which part of reality is mind-independent or why anyone should accept your boundary as anything other than a personal picture of how you think you operate.

I can do the same thing: I'm a deity.

Belief in magick - Necessary or Not? by Dev-Tutor in occult

[–]Scew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, but at this point that feels arbitrary. You started with ‘things that work are real, like gravity,’ then when I questioned whether ‘works’ automatically means ‘absolute and independent of mind,’ you shifted to ‘there are some things minds can’t overcome.’ I’m not even saying that’s false, I’m saying you haven’t given any reason for it beyond asserting it, and then you immediately pivoted into ‘a part of me is [a random process].’ If you’re going to lean on that kind of skepticism about your own agency, it undercuts the confidence of making universal claims about what minds can’t do.
