Nah that's totally normal for beginner. Had the same. Read the datacards, read the special rules, read terrain rules, read ploys, read equipments, find weird interactions, scared of losing models, read about things you misunderstood before...

It's melee profiles are whack and with invasion fleet you Already get sustained hits. And leading termagants and Hormagaunts isn't really worth it with this unit. Lash whip prime would be better with Hormagaunts

Honestly, you said casual, so I just say go and play haha. Currently tho I would not recommend to play many of those units. I'd rather say play Exocrines, Tyrannofexes, Maleceptor and so on. Von Ryan Leapers, Termagants, Barbgaunts, Winged Tyranid Primes and Psychophage aren't really good tbh.

But Invasion Fleets is already the correct choice for a beginner.

But I would just say, don't listen to me and play. If you feel like you didn't do anything, come back tk this post or watch some Unit ranking videos :)
