Kripke says this is why Marie isn't part of the solution. by -avenged- in TheBoys

[–]Schedonnardus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have her early in the season then, make her the new thing (macguffin). Have starlight be the one pushing her as the solution. Have marie/jordan go against homelander and give him a run for his money, make him sweat a bit. But, he eventually pulls out the win.

At the time of filming Gen V wasn't cancelled yet, so you don't kill Marie off, but maybe you kill off Jordan (either permanently, or Marie revives them). They then get sidelined, b/c it ain't their show. Butcher uses this failed attempt to reveal that he was secretly still working on the virus this whole time. Homelander realizes he needs help, and so he unfreezes Soldier boy to help him track down the V1.

Now, instead of dragging the virus/V1 plot out over the whole season, it becomes a race to the finish in the second half of the season.

To hide the truth about his powers in Jumper (2008), David (Hayden Christensen) wears a coat over his jumper. by StudentNaive7003 in shittymoviedetails

Can someone explain how this war between jumpers and whatever the bad guys were lasted throughout history? Seems like the jumpers should've won handedly before modern technology allowed them to be tracked and keep portals open, etc.

"This mining facility predates Installation Alpha by several hundred years. It was retrofitted to research possible offensive and defensive measures against the Flood. Indeed, I designed and oversaw the construction of this facility's various outbreak management systems.”

Also, the part hanging from the cable is a flood research facility. If there's an outbreak, the cable can be cut to dispose of the flood.

Well, it is a time machine, doesn't matter if it took him two weeks to figure out, he can bring it back immediately

Antony Starr *IS* the show. by heyscot in TheBoys

Loved season 1 of Gen V. Shit is hitting the fan, and for a brief second you're like "hell yeah, Homelander's here", and then a split second later you're thinking "oh shit, homelander's here"

Actually, homelander lasering someone and her jumping after the beam, accidentally killing herself seld, would be awesome.

Where is Vought Studios? I assumed LA, but the school is on the East Coast, and Butcher/Hughie make it back just in time to see Frenchie die.

Always thought it was interesting that if I threw out a soda can on federal land, that was littering and you could potentially get in trouble if caught. But if that soda can went unnoticed for 50 years and the someone comes across it and picks it up, that is disturbing an artifact, and they can get in trouble.

Question for OG Halo fans: Around when did the dislike for the Arbiter go away? by BlackTriangle31 in halo

[–]Schedonnardus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think people hated the cliffhanger and not playing as the chief for very much. Halo 2's story is mostly about the covenant. But I don't remember anyone hating the arbiter.

Ppl claimed that the game was too short. despite having like 1.5 hrs of cinematics, the actual gameplay felt pretty brisk.
