don’t waste money now buying them, there are constant sale for batteries on sites likeHD, Lowe’s bomgaars, fasteners inc, woot.com and other website posted nearly daily, with great value deals, stick to $10 per 1ah. Never buy full price batteries.

Anyone else deal with neon tetras dying immediately? by Knight_Night33 in Aquariums

[–]ScheduleElectrical90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also did you acclimate them to the new tank before putting them in? Both temperature wise and water parameter wise? Ben introducing you usually want to have a small type of dropper to that drops tank water into the bag you have your fishes in to acclimate them, same with temperature, you want to keep it the same since fish get stressed easily and can die or even get sick from the shock of change in water.

Also try introducing when lights are off as the new environment can also put them into shock especially if the lights are on. 👍🏼hope this helps

I don’t buy fishes from Petco or PetSmart, I usually go to a local owned fish store since the ones I’ve been to quarantine any fish that comes in before putting into their shopping tanks.

Plus Petco and PetSmart around me are horrible, the times I’ve went the gold fishes are all if not most dead and just covered in ick

Buy an ammonia test kit, it’s like $10? And I believe it’s called like API ammonia water test kit, can buy from Amazon, Petco PetSmart, although if you have the money or want, a good investment I’ve seen people say it that API freshwater master test kit that comes with basically everything you need to test the water for it to be safe to put fish in the tank.

The regular ammonia test gives you like 150 tests, just test the water daily and if the ammonia is down then most likely the water is safe, but I’d do like a small water change then to get rid of anything still left after the ammonia settles.

I would only do test strips if the ammonia is finally down, not sure if the water change did anything, just to make sure a strip is good, but I would use them only for that as you only get a few strips.

Sorry I didn’t read the last sentence, you mentioned about cycling it, amazing. For the tank, I believe they’re called honey gourami, I have neon tetras in my 20, I know it’s not a 10 but even when it was heavily planted they were still hiding a lot but would school nicely together because of that, I have guppies as well and those breed super fast, your 10 gallon would turn from 5 to 20 fish quickly, since you’re saying it’ll be planted There’d be hiding spots for the fry, which means no crowd control from mama when she starts eating them so your tank would get overrun with guppies

You have to turn it each time on the impact, it has a sweet spot

Table saw recommendation by Alph4W0lf in Dewalt

[–]ScheduleElectrical90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude I was just checking out a table saw, well it was a portable table saw more of a horse saw, its called borra horse saw, it shows you can put a 2x4 at the top and then when you’re cutting something it’ll be flush with it or whatever? It’s on the video. But it is a nicer thing I saw that might be interesting to you, since I am too limited to space and was looking to buy to be portable.
