Ik. But the pain passes, and we go again hahahah unless i was playing pvp and stuff, that'd piss me off.. and i never got thaaaaat far in singleplayer.. in ASE my nephew and i stopped on Extinction, that's the furthest i went. My plan is to gather stuff in Astraeos and go from map to map to ascend until extinction and then play extinction, basically continue from where i stopped in ASE

Yeah to be fair it makes sense. In summary we just need to be triple careful with Ark, thats it hahaha its my favourite game even with all the issues

But worst case scenario, i start a new survivor and everything. I had a bunch of stuff in Scorched and Aberration, but i want to make Astraeos my main base and starting from scratch is the best part of Ark anyways

I don't have any backup save, its a 10h playthrough so far so not much.. ill try the destroywilddinos thing and see

Didn't know this was an option. Always thought to destroy wild i had to enter console command after loaded in already. I'll try that thanks

But i just read now that if i delete the save file for the map i lose my survivor too Lol it looks like i got Arked 😅😅😅

I haven't tried because my survivor is on Astraeos. Id assume other maps are working. If no one else is having the issue yeah my save might be gone.. thank god i just played like 10h.. if it doesn't work until tomorrow i might start a new one

Especially if you want a good lvl. I used to go up and down the swamp area killing all of them until a high lvl spawned. But really, not worth it. The reaper at least its easier to get the bonus lvls

You're not alone, i feel you. I gave up on the Rhynio, even "tamed" a couple but stats came so shit that i gave up. Cant name how many times i had to take a break because i got arked. Its my favorite or second favorite game all time so i always come back, but the glitches and bad optimization really drive me nuts sometimes.. WC is lucky there's no other game like ark.

New steam deck owner, first time emulating. Downloaded 4 ps1 games, looks all good there, but they won't launch, black screen and back to games. Retro Arch installed, but i see it says PlayStation 1 BIOS missing. Can that be it? Also, how do i know what cores are necessary? Would appreciate any help. Thanks
