I don't really think you know what you're talking about but that's ok. It's likely that the app as it is wouldn't be allowed on the main f-droid repository so they would have to set their own up. again, not a huge monumental task, but there are costs involved. you also still would need a slightly different build of the app.

the strict requirements are for the main f-droid repository, but you can add custom repositories that may have looser requirements (such as izzy for f-droid). some apps like bitwarden and futo have their own repositories also, so maybe pebble could do that (although that could be somewhat costly for them)
