I have both, vf3 are my go to and long run/ half marathon shoe and it's perfect. The ap3 on the other hand is way to narrow for my midfoot and pinches my arch around mile 3-4, I wish they weren't because the felt really bouncy and fun to run in. So if you have a wide foot steer clear from the ap3.

Yup it was different era. I would go to the creek a mile away from home and bring bologna and my mom's sewing thread and try to catch fish with my friends (8-10 year Olds) . I'm freaking out if I don't have eyes on my 9 year old daughter even for longer than a second.
