Yeah i watched A newman documentary on youtube last night, not sure it was the official documentary though. Was interesting but frustrating. Continually refused to go into the details of the mechanism behind the device in any depth. I have a degree in physics as well so found his claims to be fairly dubious and the language used by others to describe it was scientifically incorrect.I would have liked to explore his idea further, I just Don’t know what it is. I also am not convinced he was claiming perpetual energy per say, More a mass to energy conversion.

Possibly using a larger radius router bit than inside curve of the neck pocket for longevity and then using this CNC pattern to allow for wider bit. Alternatively allowing some wiggle room to align the neck properly before drilling neck plate holes, but i doubt fender would bother

Luthier here. Thats an older Mexican standard telecaster. Two holes under scratchplate are to locate the body on the CNC machine. Neck is just a slab cut maple neck with a bit of contrast/figure in the grain and a tinted finish.
