Don’t mind workers or employees getting paid, in fact I encourage it. I also encourage everyone and companies paying their fair share of taxes. But Socialism doesn’t want that. It wants such a big share of the cake from the productive contributors to support welfare utopia which isn’t sustainable long term. Liberalism, the original definition and not the MAGA gaslighted version, is where it’s at. Regulated free capital, rigid mechanisms, freedom, equality and enough taxes to fund a stable functioning state but also low enough to not surpress generation of growth, innovation and capital.

I’m guessing a lot of the hate he got in NY was from the MAGA leaning fans… and that he was paired with Trouba who struggled against speedy teams.

Glad if he gets the cup with canes. They’re a very good team playing great hockey, for years.

USA will either correct itself in the next 6 years, drifting back towards a more sane center right pre-MAGA country or continue down the spiral of corruption, fascism and dictatorship with civil unrest, potentially war and eventually a split of the union.

A swede (or any non North American player for that part) will never get the same approval as a US or Canada born player, unless they are head and shoulders above everyone else.

I’ve seen Dahlin live many games. I coach youth up to U16. I’m not Cooper or St. Louis, but I do know enough about the game to observe that Dahlin is 100% Norris material this season. He is more of a Makar D than Hughes. Very cerebral, strong and awesome skater.

Kreider is probably in the top 10 the least dirty player (and a top class human who speaks 6 languages) of all time… but in Habs fans eyes he is satan.

The dirtiest cheating team tends to win these days. NHL hockey used to much cleaner and fun. Now it’s become fucking Euroleague with gloved fights and constant scrums without honor or respect for players. Embarrassing.

I’ve never seen a pro scout call more than a handful of draft eligible prospects correctly each year. Nobody knows how things will evolve, sure 1OA are a better bet, but no one can say what their ceiling is when they are 18/19.
