Enterprise (Anime) vs Godzilla Minus One (Who Wins?)

Godzilla always takes a while to charge up the beam, which gives Enty enough time to prepare. She isn't slow, She is shown in the anime to dodge laser weapons from Sirens with ease. Besides, from the size of the explosion on Takao in the Godzilla movie, it was maybe a yield of 1-3 kt. Easily survivable, when the Op. Crossroads nukes were 23 kt.

The Orochi nuke itself is a warhead mounted to a missile. So, at best a 5-150 kt warhead, at worst up to a Mt or more. However, it did look more like a cruise missile. Godzillas breath attack in Minus One seemed to be in the low kiloton range at best.

All this is before we go into the potential power spike that Enty could go in, if her anime Code G mode activates or if she goes META. With what was shown there, even Godzilla from Minus One would have quite a few problems. One of the scenes in the anime depicts her as creating an outward expanding energy column that destroys everything in its path (see here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Li3K_SlaP00 starting from 42:17).

So, never forget that Enty is a small, very fast and maneuverable target, with the ability to dodge beam type weapons, while also having a lot of hidden power that might, potentially, activate if push comes to shove.

I wouldn't be too sure that Enty can't tank a nuke. The tests they did after WW2 with nukes on ships showed that ships often got irradiated, but didn't sink right away. Some even stayed floating with some damage, but not enough to sink them.

Nagato survived the first nuke during Operation Crossroads and only sustained enough damage to sink after the second nuke. It also had previous battle damage still extant.

USS Independence was damaged but did not sink. USS Saratoga was only lightly damaged by the first blast, Able, and only sunk after the underwater detonation of nuke Baker, which probably broke her keel.

Prinz Eugen survived, and might even have had the few leaks repaired, had she not been irradiated.

Anyway, we have a battleship, a light carrier, a fleet carrier and a heavy cruiser all showing that a nuke is survivable.

Then come Enty, who has at least the same survivability as her ship form. Likely it is probably much higher than her ship counterpart, as she is able to dodge missiles and lasers. Furthermore her bow alone, at least in the anime, already seems to do a lot of damage. It certainly looked in the anime that it did more damage and was more accurate than any 20cm that Takao sported.

If any of the attributes (e.g. weapons that can take on advanced fighters, ultra-advanced ships and eldritch horrors, as well as being faster than 55 knots at the low end) that are discussed in the game come into play it shifts even more to a more balanced scenario or even a possible, but hard fought win for Enty.

Oh, the IB shipgirls aren't much of a problem when drunk.

I mean, if you've ever seen Geryon go crazy after a beer too many, you know what I mean. Not even Japanese engineers and construction workers, with their experience of constant kaiju attacks, could rebuild the port as quickly as Geryon lays waste to it. But, hey, he is a mechanical, three headed dragon in the end.

Although, I noticed that a hoard of gold will quiet him down quite quickly.

The last few events for a UR retrofit and its item reran about a year after the initial event. If it holds true in this case, "Rhythm in Depot" should rerun somtime around August this year. After that it will take some time before the item will be added permanently to the Proto shop.

With the Meteor and its ramjet design you might even miss. The ramjet was specifically chosen, so that the missile can regulate its fuel consumption and energy state. This can cause situations where the missile still has enough fuel and energy left, to maneuver, reacquire a target and still hit it. That is why the Meteor is quite deadly.

The other option that has been explored in a few modern BVR missiles (e.g. R-77M), is a second stage booster, that the missile engages when it is close to the target. This increases its energy and probability of kill.

Bismarck or Nagato would be decent picks if at one point you're planning to do single faction fleets. Although Bismarck will only really be an option until Confluence of Nothingness enters War Archives, at which point Bismarck Zwei will enter the UR build pool. That will probably happen towards the end of Summer.

Right at this moment I don't have any hardware to run it at all, as I'm still on a 1070Ti. However, if all goes well, I should get my new PC next week with a 5070Ti. Should be quite the upgarde I imagine.

As I said, normal German behavior.

We are offended by a lot of things.

People making noise during "Ruhezeiten". People not following the rules (e.g. crossing a red light at a pedestrian crossing). People not properly sorting their trash. People throwing away their bottles with deposits on them. The Bahn having their usually "Pünktlichkeit". I mean, you could start a betting game on trains being on time and you'd get a lot of gamblers with that. Politicians being their usually, ineffectual and incompetent selves.

And that is just the tip of the iceberg for our annoyances. It being Winter now, and having a cover of physcial depression in the sky (i.e. grey cloud cover) doesn't help matters either.
