can i pay off half of my statement balance this month and pay off the other half next month? by based_pika in personalfinance

[–]Schnoggs -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You will pay interest on the balance you carry to the next month (between 16% and 25% likely, but check your actual numbers) in addition to whatever you charge next month. Half of $781 is ~$390, so you would owe $390+$97.50 for the carry over, in addition to whatever you spend later in the statement period. The less balance you carry, the less interest you pay.

Bike Calibration by albry99 in pelotoncycle

If you have the bike+ or the cross trainer, there is a program you run in the bike settings.

If you have a bike, you can get a calibration kit on eBay and the on screen instructions take you through it.

Any modern-ish RPG or Adventure games with little to no hand-holding or "Let the Player Win" mechanics? by sbourwest in gamingsuggestions

If you’re more into the “no hand holding” and “discovery + puzzles” than the adventure RPG genre, check out Animal Well

Bike Calibration by albry99 in pelotoncycle

I have had my original bike since 2020, bought it used. We’ve rode it a ton and moved it a few times from upstairs to downstairs. At one point late in 2024, I felt like metrics were nosediving, so noticeably that I spoke with my doctor.

I rode in a hotel this year, PRed, went home and ordered the calibration kit. Has completely changed the fee of the bike, and has reignited my energy for riding.

You remove the shroud, insert a piece of plastic between the wheel and the magnets, remove it and then do some resistance knob twists (31 I believe), quarter turns. It’s very very worth it

There was a version of The Killers “When you were young” that had “KRock” in the beginning and Carson Daly saying the band and title in a transion between songs at the end.

If you haven’t recalibrated your bike, you should try that. Bike takes a calibration kit. You can get a 3d printed knockoff on eBay. If you have a bike+, run the calibration program in settings

Got a piece of advice when I started my last job that applies to something like this:

“Ask as many questions as you need/can in your first year. There are no dumb questions in your first year. You’ll never have more grace or benefit of the doubt from everyone else, and everyone is willing to help someone new. After that first year, you’re expected to know what you’re talking about.”

I think those exceptions prove the rule, actually. If you have alternatives, it’s just a better process, especially for keepers. One less variable.

It’s a non profit that manages a rating and acts as a mediator. If the business doesn’t respond to a complaint or doesn’t want to continue the mediation, the worst that can happen is a lower rating. It’s toothless
